I live in rural Nebraska and meth has just devastated the area. It started back in the 1990's and has exploded since then. There are lots of abandoned farms around here where it can be made secretly. There are also lots of ammonia tanks on farms here (for crop fertilizer) that can be easily tapped. Robberies have skyrocketed as people try to support their habit. People on meth are hyper-crazy, and it lasts for days instead of a few hours like a dose of coke does to you.
