You did a great job, but, you totally left the story in order to indulge in the typical, young man's desire to kill all police.

So, there was NO reason to call it "The Tell-Tale Heart".

He didn't hear the heart and he didn't tell on himself.

Dig a little, you'll see that it's about a young man who is staying with an older man who is checking him out.

This sets off the punk, who reassures us that "passion there was none".

But the old man had loved him and it repelled him.

Then, it haunted him...

BadAppleStudios- you've insisted people 'use proper spelling and grammar' when responding as 'it is Edgar Allan Poe we're talking about here'. Fair enough I suppose, but you've omitted the main character's initial confidence once the police arrive. I was concerned by that, but then he ends up killing the police. Sacrilege! Not the killing of the police necessarily, but Poe's story does not end this way at all. It's a bit like doing an adaptation of Hamlet, and at the end Hamlet lives!

And even if it had, think about how hard and expensive it is nowadays to tear planks off a floor and then put them back together making it look like nothing happened.

Had a make-up FX artist design it. About an hour and a half to apply. Lots of embalmer's wax, some sort of special goo paint, and a ping pong ball. Sorry, it doesn't help much. Our make-up guy did all the creative work for the eye while we set up the scenes.

Nah, I didn't like it, the majority of the actual story isn't him hiding the body and talking to the police, It's him planning to kill the old man, and then doing so. though nice bringing back the thumping heart at the end, that's preety much how I saw it when reading the story. however you once again stray from the path. he gives himself up and shows them the dismembered corpse. he doesn't kill them. still it's only an adaption, well done  (5/5)

Nah, this is not good. The only cool part is the eye, it does look scary. You can't change the ending man!! It is the reason of the title!!! the TELL-TALE HEARTTT!! It is one of the MOST IMPORTANT PARTS OF THE STORY! The fact that his guilt makes him confess by "listening" to the man's heart is why it is a tell-tale heart! You ruined a GREAT story just to put more blood in it... shame on you!

Dragging out the dismemberment is an interesting take on the story. For sure that is probably the most disturbing aspect of the tale, but for me even creepier is the number of minutes the killer holds his hand over the corpse's chest to make sure the old man is dead.

I tend to agree with the others, i.e. criticism of your liberty with the ending, but I liked some aspects of this production nevertheless.

good effort, but the music choice for those selective scenes was aweful. as for the ending, i thought that the killer's "death stare" was clichéd. also, you guys have to get a boom to filter out the noise pollution in the background, it was really distracting. i really like the idea though, it takes a lot of creativity to adapt edgar allen poe's work, you just gotta keep refining it.

Personally I think the original was better, but some of the things you've added were good. For instance when the man started panicking he saw the old man cackle at him. I enjoyed that. And the fact he killed the cop in his madness. And the modern time you put on it. I'd have to say 5 stars. A good show!
