The lyrics to this song are interesting in that they would not have appeared in a song before the 1980s. In previous decades, the question 'Why don't we live together?' would have sounded shocking and offensive, rather that a rather matter-of-fact question that reflects what is now an entirely ordinary stage in a relationship.

I'm 25 and was never gay but Pet Shop Boys is definately my favourite pop band.

I think they are the only one electronic band from the 80's who play good music even in 2009.

I was 14 when the Please album released and at the summer workplace I've been always heard this album on a walkman, at the communistic era that was a refresh for me and of course I was young and I thought the future will be mine in every aspect :)
