Monkey was a senior and he knocked off about 6 helmets that season. And flattened another half dozen who managed to keep their hats on. He would tell you he was just as fast as any of the other guys. He possessed great timing, effort and technique at the point of contact. He obviously loved the kick off team.

Watching it live, I remember it was a great hit and thank goodness he did get right up without an injury. To me, that is the best football, big hits with out anyone getting injured. I wish they were all like that.
