  • just love the way these kids can perform at such a higher level than most kids their age can do.. 2nd violin solo girl did amazing!

  • 0:49 - 0:53.... hehe

  • This is pretty good. They could improve on their intonation and coordination, but its still above average. Great Job ^__-

  • There is still a lot of room for improvement (intonation etc), but thumbs up for trying anyway.

  • The Last 3rd violin solo seems a little different from the usual version... looks nice

  • Marvelous!

  • Nicely done, very musical... and I especially like to see that they are smiling (esp 3rd violinist) and enjoying making music.

  • I love how they're watching each other and smiling!!! They look like they;re having fun : D I'm playing this song now too can't wait to perform it, the solos go so well together

  • los cuatro que votaron abajo, no saben nada de musica, clasisismo, ni cultura

  • Es consolador que todavía hayan chicos sensibles y talentosos, que les guste este tipo de música.

  • Boy needs more work.

  • Congrats Palo Alto. I have been playing since I was 5 (now 12) and This is very good. to repeat takhirviolinest, Brave (American Keyboard, No Stress Marks)

  • Bravé

  • everything was good till the last solo for the 3rd violin... wrong key... great tone..

  • holy crapola. i wish i could be that good when i was 11-12 i just started at that age O.O

  • alex remember, DANA Pride

  • hi helena, thought u share with sophia than margaret since margaret is assistant section leader,

    -rish

  • extraordinarilly gifted

  • Quite good !How old are they?

  • All 4 violinists were aged 11-12 at the time of the performance, and the solo cellist was 13. All were members of the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra's "Preparatory" orchestra, and are now in the "Debut Ensemble", still having a great time!

    Thanks for your interest.

  • The lady in pink playing as the third violin really stand out among the four! She is the best among them!

  • well, nice to meet you, Alex! but i don't really know u my name is Helena Lin, and i am a 7th grader, stand partner with Margaret...1st violin~ :)

  • is that Chris on the left,

if it is... then I think think this is the Pasadena Youths Symphony Orchestra!

  • No, the person on the right was 11 years old at the time. He lives in the Bay Area. The orchestra is the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra and they performed on Stanford University campus.

  • really? same here! ^^ do i know you? my name's on my page

  • I'm Alex Tu, 6th period orchestra, and also the stand partner of Edwin

  • and I'm 8th grade

  • I don't think I know a Helena or even meeting one, not that I'm trying to be rude

  • our orchestra is currently playing this song, and we are only in 7th grade!

  • which school do you go to?

I go to Foothills Middle School in Arcadia

  • Played this during my freshman year in high school (1st violin), it's a great piece, very baroque. Really typical for a Vivaldi concerto (at least those that I've seen), fast paced, dark tones, and challenging solos. This is probably the first clip I've seen that is done at a decent tempo other than the professional recordings. Some wrong notes, but still solid, also, what's the deal with soloists standing up to play this? I've seen this in almost all the other recordings I've come across...

  • the girl in the blue did a very nice job

  • how old are they!?!?!

this is amzing! i am playing this in my sinfonia and i am in highschool!!

there were a few screw ups, but just the fact that they played this piece makes up for it!

    =D

  • This is my favorite musical piece of all time.

    So good.

  • wow, they did a really good job especially considering their age. I played this as a sophomore with 3 other girls my age.. its such a great piece!

  • woo . few notes were out of intonation . but pretty good for these kids . for me, i was still playing with my teddy bears on their size . childlish me . =.=

  • Wow! Those kids can play!

  • ::THUMBS UP::

    That's my niece !!!

  • You must be so proud!!
