Gauvin´s voice is outstanding whether in pianissimo or in forte, always with the suitable expression, tender or strong, her technique and coloraturas are immaculate ... and the pauses in thise aria are the most interesting ones I have ever heard. No wonder the hall erupts in applause at the end of this. Brava!

She is exceptional. An outstanding technique and style in service of the music, beautiful appealing warm full sound, and a strong emotional connection to the music. I'm dislike that photo immensely -- for some reason they are trying to capture a modern sexy image, but it undermines her highly dignified work in my view.
