Hey Guys,I have a softmodded wii 4.3E and i've had it like this for like a month but for some reason yesterday, my SDHC card couldn't be read in my Wii,It used to work fine and read all my homebrew stuff like FCEUX GX etc.

I recently moved the mega man 9 and 10 DLCs to my SDHC from my wii to see if i could get my DLCs working cus they would'nt work either

MY SDHC still works in my pc and my wii still reads SD cards so i don't know why my Wii wont read SDHC anymore,can anyone help thanks :)

@MiiWiiKanal well, just give it a go. When it's fixed, install BootMii (prepare an SD card and install it as boot2) as well as HBC. Reboot your Wii and perform a NAND backup (don't ask me, I forgot). That way, if it's bricked, you can recover.

Sure, technology does advance, but not just for Nintendo, for hackers as well. What is your problem with Homebrew? It's nothing to do with piracy, it's just like brand new third party games basically. It's not illegal, because they are our Wiis and it's their(Team Twiizer's) software, so it's not illegal. And because of the nature of the Wii's hardware and sloppy firmware, no patch will truely rid of it's homebrew. They could make one patch, and the Homebrew Channel team will be able to counter that patch in a few days.

Nintendo already tried to patch the Homebrew Channel off Wii's, but the Homebrew Channel team released a fix for that just 8 hours later.

Nintendo can't just get a "pro-hacker" to force a patch to delete a third party application. It's far too risky.

If something goes wrong, and it bricks the near million Wii's with Homebrew, Nintendo will legally repair all those Wiis.

Nintendo wouldn't risk it.

The last patch they even attempted to remove it, it appeared it were tested for over 7 months, and was such a basic patch, it was useless at eliminating Homebrew.

It's the same old exploit, but the "going to patch soon" part is debatable, since they're rather overdue on it. In any case, if they do patch it, we have action plans. Rest assured that the channel will not be rendered useless if Nintendo does indeed patch it - we have solutions to that problem.
