I'm an American in 1980 when I visited Lagos Nigeria the city has a feel of New York city all the Nigerians that I hung around with were superbly educated and likable... I just hope they still have that there now. I lived in the one thousand and four house of assembly staff complex in Ikoyi Lagos.
affordable affordable affordable is all I hear, how affordable are these houses/apartments? Is it possible to get a 4 or 5 bedroom apartment for 5miilion Naira? If yes, please do contact me ASAP
That exactly wha am talking about in order 2 reconstruct a whole town like Ajegunle u have 2 build other places 4 the ppl of Ajegunle 2 relocate then take da junk buildings down & reconstruct da whole place da right way
I can't even imagine how much expensive it will cost to rent or buy any of those apartments, especially as it is located in Lekki, I would think the price will be arm and leg, these apartments are so overpriced, this should be the standard of building in the whole of Lagos, not just for the rich.
These doubters here are the ones who dont get it. Firstly there will always be poor people.......in every country of the world. Nigeria is a prime example of a capitalist society. Governements dont create jobs, businesses do. This is an attempt to kick start the middle class who inturn would creae jobs and wealth. Go Nigeria!
I completely agree with you Sodiq.. This is all nice and inspiring, but we are still not understanding this main problem in Nigeria today.. This ad. only cater to wealthy Nigerians. When are we going to start thinking about the average men? When are we going to start thinking outside the box and providing decent and affordable home for the masses so we eliminate the slum people live in Agege, Ajegunle etc... The entire state needs to be developed if you wanna look like the western world.
@dshayo1 If there is development people will talk, if there is no development people will still talk....what do u really want, everyone can not be rich.Government can not creat jobs for everyone individuals do ; it's called investment from abroad or locally.Government needs to do more for common man but does that mean that the state or country should remain stagnant interms of infastructure? ANSWER IS NO!
@TheSodiq1 if they specialise in luxury homes and building, ajegunle is not the ideal location...only the government can solve the problem of ajegunle by introducing new laws like the chinese did, relocate the people and level the entire city then use a master plan to build from ground up, sewage, underground fiber optic cables and phone lines, parks, malls, public library, town halls, hospitals. My dream is that every constiyuency in naija would have all these things i listed.
These are Private investments, and u are no one, to tell the people who put in their hard earned money into them, On the places where to build or not....
If u feel so bad about Ajegunle, Okokomaiko or Mushin, why dont u go build your next house/Private development there???

Grossly overpriced. Nigerian estate developers go for 100% profit. Houses built with N3 m are sold for N12m. Ridiculous.
