The most important piece of advice Trump gave his son is "Be sure you are born to a rich family as that way you can call others losers. Goddamn, Trump jr. is as lame as his father. God
I got to hand it to this kid, most kids named after a successful parent, and doing the same job, usually rebel and self destruct, but it seems he's smart enough not to.
I give a lot of credit to Donald Trumps children. NONE of them are eff ups. We've never seen any of them with a drink in their hand, tattooed up, laying on the beach, etc. They DESERVE what they have. For people who say, Junior got whatever he got because of Daddy - I say this: It would have been so easy for the rich Trump children to skip college, enjoy the money, party it up, etc. However, they are all classy, excellent manners, hard workers, family oriented. Kudos to all of them.
I think marital problems for people that powerful are more a symptom of their position. The wives seem to think their husbands positions grant them power and authority and try to assert that at home as well. A man who runs an international multi billion dollar empire is expected to be subservient to his wife when his personality and success are a result of being such a powerful leader.
I happen to like Donald Trump when it comes to real estate and business, but I wouldn't hire him to counsel my marriage. However, as much as he failed as a husband in the past, he seems to be a terrific father. The proof is in the pudding, and Don Jr, Ivanka and Eric already prove to be on the right track.
I do NOT like Donald Trump, but your argument is so invalid. How do you know that "he failed as a husband in the past"? Maybe the wife was a money hungry whore?
Don't get a nose bleed, my friend...it's my opinion and I'm welcome to it :-) Besides, it was his own admission prior to his current marriage. Perhaps a little research before you place my head on the chopping block might help!!
you are welcome to your opinion, but I'm just challenging you on it. I totally understand if you are a woman, but a man saying, "he failed as a husband"sounds kinda bullshit to me.
To each his own...I love my wife and my life is beautiful, so there's no need for me to go on talking about this subject matter. Live easy , my friend!!
Secrets? Attack anyone that doesn't agree. Threaten them with lawsuits so there's no opposition. What have the Trumps ever done to really help Americans? Don't trust the Trumps is a good message.
All I would like to add even though Donald say don't trust anyone to his son, he meant it hoping that his word would help his son when he grew up. Because most likely his son will inherit lots of wealth and he will have to deal with many people who kisses up to him in order to get his money etc. Trump knows that his son will have lots of gold-diggers reaching for their family wealth and business people asking them to invest in their plans/projects etc.
What kind of man teaches his son at the age of four... when he's just old enough to speak, eat solid foods and wipe his own ass--after using the toilet--not to TRUST ANYONE... even him?
Jesus, I mean I know he has to be guarded with all the monopoly he's acquired in this world... but, "Son, don't trust... even me."
It's scary and a little sad. Like Chazz Palmeretii in "A Bronx Tale." Maybe they're not a family to envy.
Donald certainly teach them to be defensive about their money at an young age. Not your typical family for sure. Trust nobody... Be on guard of your wealth son!
it is very right thing to say, this phrase taught his children not to expect anything from others in this case they grew up thinking that nobody owe's them. Hence they should not expect others to treat them well and they should rely on themselves. If you live like that you never get aggrevated on other people and you don't judge anybody.
Trump is a very very very wise man.
"don't trust even me" could be translated into: listen only to your inner voice, not somebody's elses opinion

Don't trust any one - this doctrine may be good for him when he's in business, but detrimental to any expected long-term relationship.
