Hi please somebody help me, when i try to add a video from my video camera which is a AVI file it doesnt let me insert it, it tells me "The selected file does not comtain video data, is not supported video file format or the video codec required to open this file was found".... I dont understand because it says This edition supports AVI so im confused can somebody help please....

@OfficialMaybach the same thing happened for me..... There are 2 options...#1, try using wmv files.... those will work... #2, it seems that after i downloaded divx, an avi. file viedo player, it seemed to work. Are you able to play AVI.'s through windows media player?

yea. u have 2 go 2 the control panel and go 2 sound or audio. clik on the recordin tab and turn off the line in by rite clickin and clickin disable. than enable tha stereo mix the same way

if u have a mixer,,, connect the headphone out to a channel on your mixer. and if your mixer has a rec/booth/output,,, connect that to your mic as a line in.. open audition, click record n play da song,,,, (thats da simplest way,,, u cud also use a asio sound card for better clarity)

Here's how you combine songs together. In multi track put different songs/ sounds/ loops. Then quantize them. Then edit them then you're done.

Question: I have a VST plugin that causes a STUTTER effect to occur at desired times when playing a sample. In ALL other programs I've tried, (Ableton, Wavosaur, etc) the sample "runs off" when the stutter effect is applied so that after the affect, the sample is at a later point, and not where the stutter occurred.

Will this program allow me to insert stutter effects so that the sample "waits" for the effect to finish before moving on?

What program can I use to do this?

Since you use it for so long, and i just started using it, i want to make a CD with mixed songs in fast bpm for aerobics. Now, in aerobics, the songs must play without pauses between them. That's the part i find difficult. I want a way to put marks at specific places in the timeline, which will have a "snap" action, so it'll be easier not to lose the exact spot to which i last did the previous export. So i can start at that exact spot for the next track.

I'm only to listen to myself live via headphones when I run AA through my Alesis Multimix 12 board. This way there is no latency to my spot I'm recording.Not sure you can do it with the computer headset. If anyone else reading this knows please let us know.

I personally use Adobe Audition 2.0 when I compose/remix music, and this is a very good tutorial on how to use it! BTW, yes! Audacity is another great program to use for music editing. Along with AcidPro, and Ableton Live.
