  • where is next now?

  • How hard is it to google that Toy Story came out in 1995?

  • "Could you explain that to someone that is not a computer nerd" LOLLLLLLL.

Steve shouldve retorted with explaining it and then calling him a old fart!!

  • "...turn the internet into an indispensable tool for doing online business..." HAHAHA

  • This "genius" should have listen to his Dr, and had surgery.

  • Louis Rukeyser ... of Wall Street Week with Louis Rukeyser on PBS.

  • @burblx No. Their photocopiers don't have anything to copy so they still lose.

  • @burblx When Bill Gates dies sometime in the next 30 years will they be even? No, Steve Jobs will always be the Father of home use products coupled with the humanities. Apple may be like Disney. He mapped out over 5 years worth of new technology which you and all of your friends will own. Just wait until iTV makes it debut. Steve Jobs will be remembered for many many years...let's see if you are ever remembered.

  • its from 1996. 3:03

  • why havn't I seen this 7 years before?

I might have different motive of myself or could have different impression of this person to the least. :|

  • "the way out for Apple is not to slash burn, it's to innovate. That's how Apple got to it's glory and that's how Apple could return to it."

    Pretty prophetic.

  • This was from "Wall Street Week".

  • I saw him with some of his workers in downtown palo alto in 2009. I should've said hi. damn.

  • Look how much more enthusiastic he gets when talking about Apple over Pixar.

  • @dookiee0000001

Apple was his dream, Pixar was a project he made to help other people make their dreams true. Of course he's more enthusiastic about his own dream.

  • I made tribute/eulogy for Steve if anyone would like to see it.

    /watch?v=LxIU1KqJ76w

  • And the last Pixar movie he saw was Cars 2, the worst Pixar film yet :(

  • RIP Steve. God bless you

  • This interview is from 1996.

"Twenty million Americans bought tickets to see the result last year, when Disney released Pixar's first feature length computer animated film, Toy Story." Toy Story was released in 1995.

  • @NESherv yes

  • "Unknown source, probably from the 90's." Louis Rukeyser, Wall Street Week.

  • I am happy that Steve Jobs was able to accomplish his dreams before he died.

  • he looks like he could be a hell of a good latex salesman for vandelay industries.

  • @chevalier329 Seinfeld reference noted.

  • Imagine... Buying goods on the internet? :o

  • Stop saying computer nerd !

  • @upthedeise09 can't believe that uppity Hampton man keeps saying "nerd" like it's bad. "NERD" is in, not like Happy Days Potsie "nerd" but much cooler

  • It's so cool that George Washington is interviewing Steve Jobs. Steve should ask him about Thomas Jefferson !

  • check out my tribute to steve jobs :'(

    /watch?v=ofCOayzdRVs

    iSad.

  • Did you guys notice how he called Apple's future at this interview from 5:17-6:12? He really KNEW what would be successful, he didn't just sell or dupe people into buying his things. He was like a jedi, seeing things before they happen....

  • "computer nerd" wtf is up with this interviewer?

  • RIP Steve Jobs. You were an amazing man.

  • this is guy interviewing him is such fagg

  • RIP STEVE

  • Steve Jobs RIP :(

  • After this interview Apple called Jobs and begged him to come back.

  • Thanks a lot: Steve just point out why Apple was sunking, and announce what he will do several years after : innovating ! This is a real nice interview, because he was right, and he show the world how Apple could be back again, with only that rule : innovate to bring people the products they were waiting for, without knowing it.

  • 5:57-6:12 > Filmed in the mid-90s, haunting comments from Steve forecasting the potential rise of Apple once again in the 'future' through Innovation ... and that's exactly what happened with him at the helm. Just amazing.

  • @rajeev203 piss off loser.!

  • @Gopeshkabra why are you calling him names for no reason??? Mac users are such bullies.

  • @MoldytoasterMedia Because world is better without people like him, it's such a sad day for the world and this asshole is obsessed with getting himself in the top comments.! People like him are such a shame for humankind.!

  • Remembering Steve,

This morning I cried for a man I had never met but who has been an intrinsic part of my life for well over thirty years. In fact ever since I set-up in business, all those years ago Steve's charisma, enthusiasm both at his keynote events, coupled with the companies cutting edge products has meant my loyalty to Apple has been repaid many fold ...our condolences go out to all his family and friends.

  • FAKE!!! That's not Steve Jobs. He is not wearing jeans and a black sweater. ;)

  • @yarovy No , no , no fake . He is Steve JObs.

  • Google

  • Thanks for posting this! I remember seeing it on TV in late '95 or early '96. It was at the peak of the most depressing time for Apple. It was also at a time when the internet was not taken seriously as a source of prosperity or innovation by the majority of people. Most people mistakenly thought that AOL's dial up bulletin board was the internet. The web was just starting to take hold of the imagination of the informed person. Google didn't exist. There was lots of talk of an AAPL takeover.

  • I love how at 0:58 he just throws the box to the floor and presents the Mac lol

  • the color of NEXT computers was already ahead of its time. being black when the industry was cream colored. now every PC is black

  • We never got to meet tonight's special guest!!!

  • This is what Ari Gold is going to look like in 40 years.

By the way, "I've read some of these Computer Nerd publications these days.." .. Dude, who the hell do you think you're interviewing. God, man!

  • OMG he changed his clothes!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wat a FUCK ALl host !!!

  • "We know from experience now that if any one company gets a dominant position in [the internet], no matter who that is, that rate of innovation is going to drop precipitously."

    I'm looking at you Google.

  • @DaStopher1 Google has stunted innovation? How? As far as I know they're one of the most innovative companies out there at the moment.

  • I am so proud that my elementary school had the first mac

  • He is such a clever man, he sees things many years before anyone else!

  • This must've been 1996 - They said "when Toy Story was released last year". That movie was released in '95.

  • If only these people knew what would happen 15 years later :). A legendary return to glory by innovating, just like Jobs predicted in this video.

  • This is from Wall Street Week with Louis Rukeyser!!

  • at 5:58 he still thinks that Apple has a future, what a legend!!!

  • when is this?

  • Steve is an iCon..

  • Great interview with Jobs. Wish there were more like it with him from the 1990s.

  • 6:00 booooooy was that understatement

  • I never knew he had hair

  • Was that the last time he wore a tie?

  • The funniest thing in this video is that Pixar used Amiga's.

  • sucks going bald

  • 1996 is when this was recorded. They refer to the release of Toy Story "last November" and it was released in 1995.

  • When Steve said, "I still think Apple has a future", i was like...."You have no idea!!!!!!"

  • Steve Jobs in suits.... that's just strange :)

  • 0:38 this is what all workers had to be like at Apple. NO JOKE!!

  • This interview is from 1995. Might want to put that in the description.

At this point in time, he was still part of NeXT. The acquisition by Apple and his return to the company as a CEO was still about a year away at this point.

  • @likethepear: you should have waited until 4:00!

  • @BrutalDeluxeSoftware Some people just dont have patience. Great video that is.

  • 06:23

    Steven Jobs? Steve"n"?

    lol

  • @Funkler10 Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs

  • @likethepear yeah, just go wank on your windows :D

  • If the interviewer worked for Jobs he [Steve] probably would have gone on a tirade and fired him for calling him a computer nerd 3 times in the space of 2 minutes :)

  • steve jobs shold get a nobel prize. jobs has done more for the world then other liars who win the nobel prize.

  • @hyylo you are retarded?

what he made so important for the world too?

    - solved the hunger?

    - solved the employment around the globe?

    - solved the polution?

    - solved the economy? in US first?

    fuck you!

  • hi

please search youtube for the free movie called........ The American Dream Film Part 1.......

it is an animation created by children from America that are poor and want to explain why they are poor.

it actually explains all the points you raised.

  • What makes Steve Jobs really incredible is that at this point in his life (mid-1990s) he could have easily lived off his prior accomplishments and rode off into the sunset as a legend. However, his greatest work was still ahead of him and at that time nobody had any clue.

  • @jrr0385 Very true. That's an interesting observation.

  • @jrr0385 well said

  • @jrr0385

His greatest work WILL see the light of day, with the legacy he left behind at Apple.

  • @jrr0385 I think Steve really wanted to do was show the world that he could beat Microsoft. And I think he has.

  • @futuremtt That's a good point, although I think Steve wanted to beat what Mircosoft stood for more than anything. He wanted to prove that passion, creativity and a dedication to great quality could be a better business strategy than the mass-produced, low-priced average quality approach (Microsoft and most other big companies); and he did it! I think thats a big reason he is such an inspiration to people, myself included.

  • His ability to explain a complicated subject simply is uncanny.

Also he used to be a chubster.

  • Great video, thanks for sharing. This appears to be from Wall Street Week with Luis Rukeyser taken during the mid 90s.

Listen to him speak, he says nothing different from when he came back to Apple a few years later, and to this day.

It's all about having vision and innovating.

  • Great clip! Thanks for uploading it
