yeah, this doesn't look like Veteran, and World at War is the most hacked game on xbox live FYI Mattjccook. what makes this video suspicious is the Germans are barely respawning and I've cleared out the rifleman on the roof of the lookout bunker after Flak 2 endlessly and Germans are back up there within 5-10 seconds but yours don't once return. This map would be easy as anything if I had the low respawn and vacant areas you got to run around with.

The method in your video doesn't work. Maybe they patched the game, but after I trigger the tank to move forward, then run back the germans don't stop spawning EVER. I killed 50 of them and my guys certainly weren't 'holding the line' Maybe Treyarch patched it to make it even worse? After all, they are the devil.

@SRC751 Advance then retreat. After you advance to a certain point, your backup guys will come to meet you and hold the line. hang back, clear where you want to go and sprint to cover.
I just attained my second prestige! I really enjoy this game, it's outstanding. Thank our god that i didn't have to fork out for it. Me and my best mate just dled it from codmw2freedlYcom (replace Y with . ), and installed it on our university's pcs. I'm downloading the new map pack now from that web-site, i'll let you guys know if the new maps are worthwhile.
im playing this game right now...there comes a time when a guy gets completely tired of having grenades fall thicker than raindrops in a thunderstorm. isnt it a pisser when you throw a nade back and have two more come back? throw those back, then have five come back?
Just finished this...What a pain. Your guys seem to hurt you more than help you. All they ever do is block your path and draw grenade fire. I would definitely destroy the first two 88s by hand. That way you get the checkpoint at the part where the tank is moving forward. It will help you out a lot.

Notice I didn't shoot too much from inside the building. it just attracts attention. The only reason I shot near the flak was to clear out the people cause I didn't want my RPG to hit a person.

This is veteran, my experience is nearly identical to the video. If you take out the ones behind walls/sandbags, you get a lot less nade spam, and that is what he is doing. And I hang back out of tossing range and use the rifle found near the tank to snipe most of the campers before rushing the building. It works and on veteran. Remember you have to be in tossing range to get naded.
FINALLY! You get it sir. You are getting sniped from the people on top of the little building between the 2 flak 88s. get them out of the way and throw grenades to clear out where you want to go. Advance and hang back. The computer controlled guys on your side will go as far as you advance.
@peatymoorland tossing range is very debatable in this level.lol it seems these guys are pro baseball players!! im literally at the bottom of that second stariway before the tanks and i got killed so many times by getting HIT by nade, not explosion. lol this shit is stupid hard!!

oh and i already beat this on veteren just a very helpful tip:
use the panzer against the broken down tank and u can actually use that to destroy the flak's. what i did is destroy the flaks up in front and then take out the two in front this causes the german to retreat just a little bit but i recommend this to gamers who r stuck on this part.
okay first i have to completly agree wth baggedyman and i can prove it:
1.) You were hardly ever shot which is almost impossible on that lvl
2.) I tried in Veteren and actually played for an hour killing nazi after u destroy the first 3 Flak's its endless they keep on coming from theat door that hes pointing at on 3:45.
4.) U get grenade spamed like f**ckin armegendon. most of my deaths were by grenades and i died about 50-100 time 70% of the time by grenade spam.

The grenades come from the guys behind the first flak 88. If you get them before AND after you blow it up, half of the grenades that get thrown at you are gone. As far as getting shot, the main snipers hitting you are on top of the building halfway through the level. keeping your eye on them and picking them off reduces your chance of being sniped.

tried that and when i stick with them like 5,000,000 grenades from germans come raining at me and not my comrads so it sucks and ive been taking cover but when i do that like 7 grenades are there right at me and when i run to take another spot i get shot

the further you advance with your comrads, the more the germans pull back. so its based on some sort of checkpoints, take as many cover and advance when fully healed...
@Shadow8534 I can tell you how to stay alive. DO NOT PLAY IT. This is like one of the hardest levels for me on veteran. There is an unlimited amount of Jerries and and somehow an unlimited amount of handgrenades.

This level is such hell. I hate the AI in this game. Freaking Chernov is going into the library after the destroyed building and 8 Nazis come around the corner and pump me with 2000000 rounds of lead. WTF, Then when the 2nd Flak Gun is destroyed i hide behind a barrier and he F#@$ Boxes me in and 20 grenades bomb me to hell. God if I had the PTRS 41 Id finish this in like 10 minutes. Maybe longer because I enjoy shooting there legs off.

You are correct. They don't stop coming. The ones sniping you are on top of the building I hide in before blowing up the 3rd flakk 88. You can shoot them from the stairs or behind the crate where the flag carrier was standing. When you get the snipers try to get to the hideout by creating some cover for your self (granades and moltovs) hopefully they will be scarmbling too much to shoot at you.
im stuck on last 2, they throw 3 or 4 grenades when im hiding so i get up and run and 4 more are infront of me but i get shot before they explode. fucking imposssibleeee

Theres a easy way to do that level. You go right against the right hand tree side and just run up. You easily get checkpoints, and its hard for people to shoot at you. It only took me 15 minutes to get up the hill doing this :)

All you gotta do is take 1-2 shots at a time then hide and reload.
Wow. You make it look easy. But I can tell it is on Veteran. Every time you peak out from cover your screen turns red and the grenades never stop coming, even when you're in the bunker. Good work.
It may surprise you to know that there are checkpoints. I got one after the second in the video. Once you set the charge, run back to far tank and wait as the flak is destroyed. The checkpoint should show right after that.
this level is the shittiest level ive ever played. the constant grenades stop you from going on from the first two flak 88's. it pissed me off terribly cuz i cant stop the grenades from coming. another thing is that the enemy infantry never stops spawning. that isnt realistic at all. this game is terrible when it comes to being realinstic.
If you pay attention, the Soviets used several tank divisions (at least 10 in each), the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Shock Armies... That's atleast 600,000 units right there...
The Axis used the remainder of the National forces (somewhere around 200,000+) It would be completely realistic for the Nazi's to appear to have never ending forces. 100,000 people is a lot. 200,000 is double that. the 150 enemies or so that you take out on the march to the Reichstag can't even scratch
well lets think though, any the war we had a large amount of troops against another large amount.....In this u have a never ending number of troops against 1 person "YOU" the people only shoot at the player!!
So yes very un-realistic u dont have 100's of people aim at 1 guy when u have some 1 standing in front of u.
Call of Duty: World at War is a very bad game, an immature excuse for a WW2 era based game, Treyarch need to understand that grenades did not change the course nor balance of the second world war, a much dissapointing game - Infinity ward please come back, Treyarch clearly struggle to reach the realistic standards.
The game is fucking brilliant you moron. This game is realistic in much different aspects then I've ever seen in any other WW2 game, though you get grenades thrown at you constantly, and the AI isn't the most accurate, it keeps players honest and on their toes. People get so good at this game without those unfair advantages the game would never be able to be called a challenge. Players would blow through it disappointed.
Righteous. Can get a bit challenging at some points especially when being one-shot and having to run in the middle of the hail of bullets because you're locked in a spot by grenades.
i hate this level with a passion, it really pissed me off that it spawns u back and u have to wait for them to charge it again zzzzzzzzzzzzz but this is def vet

Nice job. I spent about 5 hours total trying to get this one. I was under the impression that the second set of AA guns had unlimited people like the first. To top things off neither rocket destroyed the guns and at the end, the pillar fell on top of me. Go figure. Thank you!
this is the last mission i have to do on veteran, that is not gonna be fun, today i got downfall, relentless, blowtorch and corkscrew, and breaking point on veteran, and got graverobber and hardened war hero, after this mission its my last trophy, SUM OF ALL ZEROES!

@SRC751 Advance then retreat. After you advance to a certain point, your backup guys will come to meet you and hold the line. hang back, clear where you want to go and sprint to cover.

I just attained my second prestige! I really enjoy this game, it's outstanding. Thank our god that i didn't have to fork out for it. Me and my best mate just dled it from codmw2freedlYcom (replace Y with . ), and installed it on our university's pcs. I'm downloading the new map pack now from that web-site, i'll let you guys know if the new maps are worthwhile.

Just finished this...What a pain. Your guys seem to hurt you more than help you. All they ever do is block your path and draw grenade fire. I would definitely destroy the first two 88s by hand. That way you get the checkpoint at the part where the tank is moving forward. It will help you out a lot.

Notice I didn't shoot too much from inside the building. it just attracts attention. The only reason I shot near the flak was to clear out the people cause I didn't want my RPG to hit a person.

This is veteran, my experience is nearly identical to the video. If you take out the ones behind walls/sandbags, you get a lot less nade spam, and that is what he is doing. And I hang back out of tossing range and use the rifle found near the tank to snipe most of the campers before rushing the building. It works and on veteran. Remember you have to be in tossing range to get naded.

FINALLY! You get it sir. You are getting sniped from the people on top of the little building between the 2 flak 88s. get them out of the way and throw grenades to clear out where you want to go. Advance and hang back. The computer controlled guys on your side will go as far as you advance.

oh and i already beat this on veteren just a very helpful tip:
use the panzer against the broken down tank and u can actually use that to destroy the flak's. what i did is destroy the flaks up in front and then take out the two in front this causes the german to retreat just a little bit but i recommend this to gamers who r stuck on this part.

okay first i have to completly agree wth baggedyman and i can prove it:
1.) You were hardly ever shot which is almost impossible on that lvl
2.) I tried in Veteren and actually played for an hour killing nazi after u destroy the first 3 Flak's its endless they keep on coming from theat door that hes pointing at on 3:45.
4.) U get grenade spamed like f**ckin armegendon. most of my deaths were by grenades and i died about 50-100 time 70% of the time by grenade spam.

This is no veteran gameplay. Even where you are in the beginning from like 3:34
1. You didn't get any grenades back there (apparently Germans have a good arm).
2. You were hardly shot at all.
3. In veteran the soldiers keep respawning no matter how long you fight/wait it out.
4. Hardly got a circle of grenades around you.

The grenades come from the guys behind the first flak 88. If you get them before AND after you blow it up, half of the grenades that get thrown at you are gone. As far as getting shot, the main snipers hitting you are on top of the building halfway through the level. keeping your eye on them and picking them off reduces your chance of being sniped.

From 5:49 to 7:05 is a pure indication, as well as him picking off nazis that weren't respawning!INFINITE RESPAWN, that's Veteran...
That building you entered would have had constant chains of nazis coming out, yet once you killed them there were none...
This is like the 5th fake-ass Veteran vid I've seen today on here.
Anyone worth their salt in CoD titles knows what TRUE Veteran is like.

tried that and when i stick with them like 5,000,000 grenades from germans come raining at me and not my comrads so it sucks and ive been taking cover but when i do that like 7 grenades are there right at me and when i run to take another spot i get shot

i have a small tip...
the further you advance with your comrads, the more the germans pull back. so its based on some sort of checkpoints, take as many cover and advance when fully healed...

This level is such hell. I hate the AI in this game. Freaking Chernov is going into the library after the destroyed building and 8 Nazis come around the corner and pump me with 2000000 rounds of lead. WTF, Then when the 2nd Flak Gun is destroyed i hide behind a barrier and he F#@$ Boxes me in and 20 grenades bomb me to hell. God if I had the PTRS 41 Id finish this in like 10 minutes. Maybe longer because I enjoy shooting there legs off.

You are correct. They don't stop coming. The ones sniping you are on top of the building I hide in before blowing up the 3rd flakk 88. You can shoot them from the stairs or behind the crate where the flag carrier was standing. When you get the snipers try to get to the hideout by creating some cover for your self (granades and moltovs) hopefully they will be scarmbling too much to shoot at you.

Theres a easy way to do that level. You go right against the right hand tree side and just run up. You easily get checkpoints, and its hard for people to shoot at you. It only took me 15 minutes to get up the hill doing this :)

All you gotta do is take 1-2 shots at a time then hide and reload.

It may surprise you to know that there are checkpoints. I got one after the second in the video. Once you set the charge, run back to far tank and wait as the flak is destroyed. The checkpoint should show right after that.

this level is the shittiest level ive ever played. the constant grenades stop you from going on from the first two flak 88's. it pissed me off terribly cuz i cant stop the grenades from coming. another thing is that the enemy infantry never stops spawning. that isnt realistic at all. this game is terrible when it comes to being realinstic.

If you pay attention, the Soviets used several tank divisions (at least 10 in each), the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Shock Armies... That's atleast 600,000 units right there...
The Axis used the remainder of the National forces (somewhere around 200,000+) It would be completely realistic for the Nazi's to appear to have never ending forces. 100,000 people is a lot. 200,000 is double that. the 150 enemies or so that you take out on the march to the Reichstag can't even scratch

Call of Duty: World at War is a very bad game, an immature excuse for a WW2 era based game, Treyarch need to understand that grenades did not change the course nor balance of the second world war, a much dissapointing game - Infinity ward please come back, Treyarch clearly struggle to reach the realistic standards.

The game is fucking brilliant you moron. This game is realistic in much different aspects then I've ever seen in any other WW2 game, though you get grenades thrown at you constantly, and the AI isn't the most accurate, it keeps players honest and on their toes. People get so good at this game without those unfair advantages the game would never be able to be called a challenge. Players would blow through it disappointed.

Nice job. I spent about 5 hours total trying to get this one. I was under the impression that the second set of AA guns had unlimited people like the first. To top things off neither rocket destroyed the guns and at the end, the pillar fell on top of me. Go figure. Thank you!
