ive lost a dog when i was in grade school. her name is blacky. i got her when she was still a little puppy. she's very energetic and loves to run and play with me and my sister. everytime we come home, it's like she's always waiting and she always greet us with a happy face. but one day after school, when i got back home, i just saw her dead, because of the chain, it got stock and she cant breathe. i think that's how she died. sad and happy memory
@SnakeBytesTV So Im doing my overnight shift at work and I have SnakeBytes on autoplay and I came across this video and I have to say Brian I'm so sorry for your loss even though Im two yrs late. Having a pet is like having a companion. You share love adn good and bad times with them. They become a part of your everyday life and I can tell you my two parakeets I left in NYC before I moved to NC I cried like a baby. Your love for your animals is wonderful and I hope you see Krammer again someday.
I've lost two pets. A cat named Monster and a dog named Torra. Monster was the sweetest cat you'd ever meet. She was a fluffy grey kitty that loved to cuddle and drool all over you. We had to put her down after her kidneys failed. Torra was also a sweet pet. She loved people and was quite a beautiful dog. I guess her death was the saddest because she didn't die peacefully. She was poisoned and bled internally, bleeding to death in my arms. I don't have much footage of either of them...
this is true story, we had a little hamster, my little brother (2-3) at the time thought it was a toy and wanted to see if it climb straight up the wall, it cudnt so he threw it down the stairs and it died... we got a new one that looked kinda same cus my sis was sad . my brother thought it was a demon respawn so he freakd out and hid it in the basement, i spent the next 5 hours looking around the basement, 2 days later my brother takes it outside to the street. last i heard of it... truly sad
I had a rottweiler, his name was King. When King was about 7 years old he got testicle cancer. My family and I feel so bad because we left his testicles so that he would getter thicker and broader. Well the cancer got the best of him and we had to put him down. Whenever my dad went to the vet to put him down, King just crawled to my dad and started to cry. I just wish I could have done someting to keep alive. I miss you King RIP
My Great Pyrenees died from liver failure at 2 years old it was a gentic defect and my cat i raised from one day old he was 10 months he had a tumor they died 2 months apart its been a year and it still feels like i'm going to wake up and they will be asleep on my bed
I had the greatest little exotic animal. He was a cinnomon/albino pigmy hedgehog. My brother named him Excalibur (fitting name because of his quills) He was the coolest animal and quite tame too. He had the greatest temper and loved to be held in the morning drapped over my hand to warm his furry little belly. He died in my hands when he about 3. I still mis that awesome prickly mouse. lol

Sebastian, a GSD I grew up with. We got him when I was 5 or 6, and he died when I was 17. I cried for days and didn't get another dog until I was 24.
Smoky was a cat, that I got right before moving to Colorado. We found him partially eaten shortly after the move. That was a bad one. I don't know what got him, as the vet said he coudn't really tell form the remains.
her pnemonia and they both died. I was mad at that rat, but extremely sad jumper died. They were like my best friends in the whole world. Brian, I know how you feel. :(
When I was in 8th grade, about two years ago, i had two pet rats named Jumper and Peaches. I loved them both to death, but then one day I noticed Peaches was breathing very heavy, so I told mom and the next day we took her to the vet. the vet said it was pnemonia. she gave her a shot and for the next two weeks we gave her medicine. Then one da, I walked into the room to find her dead. It was the most devastating pet loss I've experienced. I bought another rat to keep jumper company, but it gave
hey brian just wondering, i remember when you said to post 30 second videos of our snakes so they could be used in a future episode, when are you do that?
when i was 12 my friend gave me a kitten i named luna. and she got me threw some very hard time. well when we moved to the house we live in now she was chased into the road by some cat hating kids and was run over. i didn't find out for 3 days and when i called animal control to see if she was picked up they told me she was run over and they just threw her body in the trash. after that i never really liked animal control. she was 3 years old when she died
I've lost several pets, but the worst was when I lost my Groucho. She was a long coated chihuahua. She was pregnant and got very very sick, and she died just a month before her 4th birthday. Took me a long time to get over losing her! What finally helped ease the pain was when I got Minnie, my papillon dog. She has helped me get over losing Groucho quite a bit since I got her.
i had them since i was 1st born probs b4 tha and 2 years ago the mother teasher had to get put dwn she had cancer and a tumer but cause she had long fur we culdnt spot it r.i.p teasher

my first pet was an iguana, my mom got rid of him after he bit her on the thumb, it was her fault!!!!! Brian, you looked so crushed, i dont like that.... i wish i couldve been there with you............ im sawwy!!! )':
My first pet was really special to me; she was a rescued Green Iguana named "Godzilla." Her previous owner severely neglected her for 2 1/2 years and she had a ton of medical problems including MBD and a severely hunched back. The vet I took her to said she only had about a month to live but with time, money, & TLC Godzilla lived for 8 years before dying of kidney failure. That lizard was a great animal and I miss her a lot. Anyway, sorry to hear about your dog but he will live on in your heart.
wow brian i apologize sincerly and definatley same here man my dog was 2 wen we had to put her down just a little chocolate lab=[ but i must move on there is plenty more animals for me out there but that dog was the best =]
im sorry about youre dog i totally know what you feel i had to put down my dog about 3 months ago he was also 17 and im 20 so i grew up with him i remember when i took him for a last walk and i knew that in 20minutes he'll be gone ow man that was i really hard time
Brian i know who you feel, when i was 5 years old my parent got me a tabby cat he was gray and white and is name was C.J i could do anything i wanted to the cat and he would never bite or scratch me. anyone eals he would nail. anyway we had to put him down when i was 17 years old. was the hardest thing for me to do. C.J liver dieases and he wasn't going to live much longer. i remember being there when he was put down and he looked at me and meowed and rubbed his head on my check. He was 12.
I had a male pastel ball python that was not receptive to the meds for a respiratory infection. Watching him asphyxiate and struggle to grasp life, I knew I had to put him in the freezer......I took one last look at him in the pillow case and he looked up at me. I closed the pillow case and i paused with the freezer door open for about 5 minutes, i set him in, closed the door, and bawled like a 4 year old girl. It really sucks that the hard thing, and the rite thing are often the same thing!
well i had a mini pug that was fully jet black..her name was shelby..she died at the age of 13 yrs old over 2 years ago......we had that dog since she was 8 weeks old and i loved her to death and i still do.....but the one time i remember of her the most is when one day me and her were in the pool, she turned brown because that day was shock day for the pool and i didn't know about it...so for her last 7 years she was brown not jet black.....shelby loved to swim......i love you shelby
the day before new years eve we had to put our dog down. she was 16, and she just couldn't walk one day. we kept her under a blanket to keep her warm, but the next day mum and my step dad had to carry her out the door on her bed. hat was the last ime i ever saw her. I'm sorry for your loss
sorry to hear about ur loss m8 and trust me i feel ur pain in 2006 i had a dog called papoose he was the lovliest dog in the world i had him since he was 6 weeks old and when he was 8 months the got seized by the police because they said he was a pitt bull and there illegal in the uk but he want he was a staffordshire terrier x american bulldog witch both are legal but thet took him and destroyed him and till this day i still blame myself for not putting up a good enough fight for him
Hey Brian, Sorry to here about your Dog, its amazing the impact animals have on us. My first experience with death came when I was about 7 years old. I had got a rex bunny for my birthday at 5 and when I was 7 his health started to go downhill. After a vet check we found out he had cancer which is apparently common with the rex breed. He died in my arms about a week later and for the last min or so of his life he started screaming like rabbits do when they are in pain. It was a very sad day.
hey brian my thoughts are with you i had a similar thing happen to me when my 15 year old golden retriever/alzastion cross rex, died i remember coming down in the morning and when i saw him i thought he was asleep so i carried on as normal and did him some food but when i called him he did not come so i walked to where he was laying,on the couch, and realised he was dead and i remember just breaking down and crying for the whole day i now keep a locket with a snip of his hair in it wherever i go
hey brain i lost a pet that ment the world to me his name was huey a golden retriever and the night before his death my mom said be aright so i did not worry the and next morning no more huey and its been 4 years and still get chocked up talking about him sorry about your dog
Hey Brian, My dog peach died a few months ago, she had a breathing problem and died while i was at school. I was deppresed for over a month but i realized that shes in a better place now so i felt much better about it. Hope you feel better Brian.
When I was about 9, I had a bearded dragon named Buzz. He was a very special animal to me. And one day, while I was holding him, he jumped out of my hands, and had a seizure. I started to burst out in tears, and fortunately, he lived. But later on in that week, he died. I think he had an aneurysm . Sorry, Tanner
Sorry to hear about your loss. In my life time I have lost many pets, but the one that was most difficult for me was just alittle over a year ago, I had my cat, Whitenight, put to sleep at the ripe age of 27 years old. I had her since I was 3 years old, she had been my best buddy for 15 years, but had to be put to sleep because of feline leucemia which we could not do anything about. I miss her to bits, it is much worse loosing a pet then it is loosing a family member in my opinion.
Brian I am so sorry about the loss of your first dog.
The first time I lost a dear pet of mine was my first snake, who happened to be a Corn snake. I saw him die in front of me in his cage with my best friend and my mom sitting beside me, and it was a very hard loss. I would never forget that snake, and ever since I had that snake I've loved snakes so much and that love will never stop no matter what.
I feel for you Brian. I have lost many pets, but the most tragic one was my cat, Allie, whom I had for 15 years. She was more then a pet, she was my best friend. She had more human-like personality then some people I know. I miss her dearly.
hey brian my heart goes out to you, i have had a lot of pets and sadly many have passed but the hardest one was my first dog that i grew up with since i was one. she was the greatest and most loyal dog ever. sadly we had to put her down from arthritis and it is like losing a family member and a best friend. it will be hard but try to rememver the funtimes you ha with kramer.
bian, sorry man. i had a dog a couple years back named buckwheat that had to be put down. he was the oddest dog in the world, and a wicked good bud. had hip problems, so it was for the best. sorry to hear about kramer (hope i spelt it right)
Hi Brian im sorry about your loss I remember having a labrador called Rockey who meant the world to me. I was the one who always sneakily gave him a dog biscuit or two before i went off to school but when he was 6 he got attack by a terrior which gave us a big scare and certainly shocked me. A few months later he was hit by a car and i was the only one to witness it and he returned the next day but unfortunately died soon later
when my second pet snake named curtis died, i had him for a year, and i was really depressed for a few days. eventualy i bounced back though. sorry about your dog, brian, i cant imagin how that must be.
Brian, sorry to hear about your loss. The best dog I ever had died 10 years ago and I still miss her.Her name was Beem and she acted like a puppy even though she was old.Beem's mom was a registered Black Lab and her father was a registered Black Lab. She was so cute as a puppy with little short legs that we thought would start growing but she stayed small and almost looked like a Weiner Dog.I got alot of happy memories and I am sure you do too.Remember the good times. ;-)
my heart goes out to you Brian. easier said than done but: "Dont cry because its over, smile because it happened..." and take comfort in the memories of all the happy times you shared.
My first ball escaped once and I found him 2 days later...limp, cold and lifeless. I was utterly gutted, and not knowing what to do with the body I temporarily put it back in the viv. An hour later I returned to burry him, but miraculously the warmth had revived him!
I'm very sorry to hear about your dog Brian. I remember when we had to put my first dog down. He had a tumor in his head and it would have been more painful for him to go on living. I have never had another dog as amazing as he was.
Brian, sorry to hear about your dog. The hardest pet loss for me was Bandit, my MinPin. He was more than a pet, he was family. I've posted his memorial video, only took me two years to finally do it and I cried the whole time I was working on it. We didn't know until the day after he died that it was cancer that took him from us. I just kept thinking "if I had only known". We have two dogs now, but Bandit will always hold top honors in our hearts.
sorry to hear about ur dog brian, my first dog cleo had to be put down because she had cancer she was a golden retriever at 11 i lived with her for about 8 years and when i was a baby i would always play with her i remember being with her when we put her down it was one of the hardest things to go through and even though I have another dog and a lot of reptiles I will always miss her and yeah dogs are really hard to get over when they pass.
my most tragic animal loss was my first snake. she was a female ball python and she was my first snake ever. i believe she died of a upper respotory infection. that was a very very sad day for me. sincerely sorry about your dog. but great show
dude brian i get you i had to put my dog down it was my 14 year old pitbull he got bitten by a snake it was really bad i had that dog when i was 1 year old could you imagine he was a great dog
im so sorry for you and your dog i havent lost a pet yet but i dread the day my dog dies or gets put down because i love it to bits and it loves me but it happens to everyone keep yer chin up.
I am truly sorry to hear about your loss Brian. I have to say my most tragic loss was when I left home. I got out of a bad situation to go to Military school and straighten my life out. I had an Irish setter for 12 years before I left, she loved me to death. My mother sold her shortly after I left like it was a possession rather than a family member. That was devastating as a child, today I think that I was jaded by that experience and it takes me a long time to grow fond of some animals.
Loved the bloopers. So very sorry to hear about Kramer, Brian. When I was a teenager, we had a Rat Terrier named Susie. She had been left behind when some people moved out. My cousin found her, and gave her to us. She slept with me ( a real pillow hog, lol), and was the best dog! Susie and I both LOVED eating tomatos. She followed my grandma up to a neighbor's house, and was hit by a car. I remember feeling like my heart had been ripped out of my chest.
i know how u feel man one of my first pets was a green iguana my dad got for me when i was ten and i loved him for almost six years until he got severe calcium deposits in his jaw and after months of hand feedings and multiple vet. visits he unfortunately passed away stay strong bro..
Hey, when you guys make a video, you should not only release that one, but add subtitles to a separate one for those of us who want to watch you during classes ;)
i fell your pain i had a 9 year old mini Shetland sheep dog and she had a huge brain tumor tat attacked her nerves system anyway after all night of suffering and 7 seizures they out her down. the gave of a CD of the c.a.t. scan and you could see the tumor ya its sucks losing a best friend. :-(......
hey brian so sorry to hear about your puppy dog i just went threw the same thing i had to have my husky put down a few months ago so i feel your pain hang in there thoe sadly it is part of the life cycle! i always try to think of the good memories compared to the bad ones i find it makes things easyier
I recently lost my first cat. She was 17 years old and I received her as a birthday present when I eight. She was an ornery queen of the castle until the end, and I loved every minute of it. I feel your pain.
I had a dog named zipper and she was a really happy dog, she was a grey hound so we adopted her from the race track. One day she started limping and and she would cry at night. We brought her to the vet and he said she was doing it for sympathy. We didnt think so, we brought her to a different vet and we found out she had bone cancer in her leg, and if we didnt put her down, her leg would soon break in half and be very painful. She was 13.
sorry about your dog Brian. i had to put my dog Baby down because she got attacked by bees that were in our backyard. we couldn't do anything to help her because they attacked us the second someone walked out. we had a bee keeper to come over asap but when he got her out she was almost dead. i'll always miss her. RIP Baby and Kramer.
hay i feel you pain, i had a black and white fluffee cat he was beautiful cat his name was peter off of -family guy- becouse he was so fluffee he looked fat. sadly he ran away... and we found him but he was badly injured, and then he ran away again, and whats bad about this i thank my dad droped him off some were where he couldent get back home.. both times.
hey brian, very sorry about your dog. i just recently had to put my dog princess down. she was also 17. she jumped in my moms car and wouldnt get out and thats how we ended up keeping her. she is greatly missed.. o ya did i mention that she was part dingo. she was found in a very bad part of my old city and was breed to fight . luckily she was young enough to be trained to be nice
sorry brian, i lost my first and favorite pet his name was mitch he was a ball python,i purchased him from a pet stroe and a few weeks later he died! i have know idea why he was a healthy snake i feed him once a week, gave him fresh water, and thats it i did every thing a ball python needed i miss him so much i was only 10 at the time.
a couple years ago i had 2 dogs named champ who was a pitbull and gabby who was a golden retriever and we lived in arizona, but we were moving to connecticut and so me my mom and my little bros went early while my dad stayed back with the movers.but the last day of packing someone left the gate open and our dogs got out =[ and the pitbull champ got hit by a car and had died. and gabby was found on the side of the road dead 2 blocks away ='[ there death hot me hard they were my first dogs. ='''[
wen i was about 12 i had a silver tabby cat named tommy and he was my best friend. he developed crystals in his stomach, few days later he got put down and i never got to say goodbye
Sorry for your loss Brian :( .. It hurts as hell to let them go. A while ago I had a rabbit called Trollet(goblin in english) He meant the world to me. I had him for 7 years. One day the neighbours dog had gotten loose and somehow opened my bunnys cage and the dog had almost killed him when I got home. I saw it and scared the dog away then we went to the animal hospital where the vet said that he had to be put to sleep immediately. That was the day before my birthday. The worst day ever!
kel, when hurricane ike affected my area in september of last year, i was currently raising two baby oketee corn snakes. due to the devestation of the nearest petco and petsmart, 35 minutes away, they had to empty their freezers because the mice thawed and were under water for nearly 3 days. they did not receive shipments of mice for more than a month and both of my corns became dehydrated from lack of nutrition and died from a combination of starvation and stress on their living conditions.
I had it really bad when I was younger. My 2 childhood dogs that I had grown up with were both put down in the same day. I had a black and yellow lab. The black one was named Tasha and the yellow one was Sadie. Saying goodbye to both of them at the same time was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.
Brian I am soooo sorry for your loss. Trust me I know how you feel.
wow brain you really get sad when one of your pets died sry to here about your lose though i listin to your podcast every 5 min i love it because i am thing about breeding snakes!
my first snake i ever had named murry got out and i looked for him for ever taring apart my room furniture everyting but i couldnt find him i found him 8 mounths later in the laundry room and i was so excited and tried to nurse him back ti helth 3 days after i found him he died of respritory infection
Sorry to hear about your loss Brian, its never easy when you lose something so close to you! I had a golden retriever for 13yrs and when he passed it was like losing a brother being that I was the only child.
wow im sorry to here about your dog brin i cryed when you were talking about it i had a germend shepard that was 14 we had to put her down and the whole family cryed like we lost a brother or sumthing so i feel your pain

throughout my child hood, my family had loads of pets in the household, from little animals like budgies and rats to dogs. it was all very upsetting when each one died (recently just lost my beloved pet rat ted) but out of all animal deaths, its most shocking and sad when a family pet dog dies, coz its not really a pet its a family member. i remember when my poodle -pepsi had to be put down to cancer at age 11 in 2001. I was so upset and grieved so much for her, the house seemed empty for months
i sent the comment about the african house snakes and you said there good pet but can be fiesty. what snake can i get that stays as small as possible and is not very fiesty at all
brian im so sorry for your loss... i feel you. wen i was 11 i lost my dog jack but we went for a walk like always and even on a leash he ran out into the road and got hit by a car. the worst part was the guy who hit him never stopped. it was a hit and run and to this day i dont know who did it or why they didnt stop. but i deffinantly feel your pain. - dan
Sorry Brian, I lost my pit bull Kaino, he was a great friend and a big part of our family. I was wondering do snake repellents work! Wish you the best!
First off, sorry for your loss Brian. My family had a cat named weasel and he died at the age of 15 last year. He was an awesome cat. big fat grey and white striped with blue crossed eyes. he'd fetch cigarette packs. and hid in a kitchen drawer when it stormed.
My pet cat was a really good friend to me, we grew up together and he would always come and find me in the morning and sleep in my bed with me, or lie on my chest purring contentedly while I was watching telly. He died sitting right next to me when I was doing some work at home. A great pet and loyal friend, he is sorely missed even though he died 4 1/2 years ago. RIP Fluffa - Brian I know its tough losing such a close friend but be thankful for those years you spent together.
I actually prefer my pets above family members, we just get along so much better, the arguments are so much less and we have a mutual understanding... Dont chow on my arm, and I wont chow on your rat.
Brian, I feel sorry for You! I hope You'll get through the first most painful time. I had a cat for 12 years and was totally sad when she passed away after being ill for many years (we managed to keep her alive with a lot of care).
One question: which snake do You show at 5:42? Is it a ball pythons morph? Looks a bit like an afrock...
i really want a snake but im scared of big snakes someone told me african house snakes are really good pets and dont get very big at all what are your opinon on african house snakes?
I know your pain Brian, My first boa that I've had for 19 years just died two days ago when I've been out of state visiting family, I cried so much because out of all my pets I loved that snake the most. Then when I was finally feeling a little better, i seen you talking about your dog and it just got me started again. I hope you feel better brian -DJ
i had a terrior/retrever mix named jesse, she only lived to be about 3, we had her for 2 years, jesse died by a Prarrie Rattlesnake bite protecting my mom, while they were on a walk.
omg, I started to cry when Brian told us about his dog.I'm so sorry. But, my worst loose of a pet, where when my 15 year old cat, were put away. someone did kick the cat in the face, and it could not breath well, so. ( And we actully saw when she was kicked, It was the most terrible sight in my life.) -.- by the way nice show.
Last October my scottish terrier, Willie, had to be put to sleep due to kidney failure. My mom bought him when I was 5 and had him up to when I was 21. The worse thing was I didn't get to say goodbye, since I was at college. The weekend before he died he was really sick but he was going to the vet Monday so I thought the vet would help. On Monday though I had a voice mail of my mom crying and knew. Losing a pet you've had that long is never easy and I'm truly sorry to hear about your loss Brian.
i had a min pin named braini named him after my friend who died overseas and when i got rain my mn pin he was cute and cuddly but he ws a good watch dog and he died last year i had him for 5 years he diedin a storm we had it was hailing an lightning and thundering and i went outside toget brian brian and when i got bout 5 feet from hi a branch fll and landed on him and me and i was there with him in the hail and my best friend buddy came over just in time and him and his brother got me ou
One of my most heart breaking pet losses was when my pet rat Pete died when I was about 9 or 10. Although I have snakes and feed them rodents, Pete was like my best friend. I would share my food with him, let him roam around my room, and even took baths with him. He died of plain old age but he lived a good life and I hope your taking your loss well Brian.
Every pet that died was a great & painful loss to me. However the most recent was Coco, my California Kingsnake. I had her for 11yrs. I got her when she was approximately 2-3 yrs old. She died 3/3/08 of liver cancer (my Herp Vet did the necropsy). I feel your pain. Always remember you gave your pet the best life possible and obviously a lot of love! I believe all our beloved pets will be there with us in the next life. My prayers are with you at this difficult time.
this past christmas we had to put down one of our cats that i grew up with and got very attached to he was a 26 lb maine coon tabby mix. He was awesome the best cat.He had a terminal type of bone cancer. It was the worst 6months for me and him. He was put down like a week before Christmas. That was the worst.
i had german sheppard named Max since pretty much the day i was born. my mom told me he was suffering all day. and that he waited for me to get home from school to pass away. it was like he was waiting to say goodbye. i miss and love him soo much. i missed two days of school because i was so upset.
we also lost a baby sparrow that fell out of a tree that my dad was cutting down, we thought we were goin to loose him the first day but he got alot better and really bonded with my dad, when we tried to let him go he flew away and then came back and landed on my dad's shoulder, he died a day later after he wouldn't eat
in the past two years i lost 2 of the pets i grew up with, one was a pet cat named camie(she had i camouflage-ish coloration) she died of simple old age but at an incredible 22 years old my parents got her as a stray the day they moved into our house, i also lost a 10 year old fox hound named copper after the movie the fox and the hound and she died from cancer that spread to her bones, the last few days she would just lay there, we tried feeding her and she just couldn't get up.
My first snake was a cute little ribbon. My parents wrapped up the log, rock, and tank separately at Christmas and had me open them. I was young at the time, so I was very confused. My stepdad said that he had pet logs when he was a kid and I stared at him in confusion. He then said he had to go get something from the bedroom and came out holding the snake! Sadly he died a few years ago, but I'll always remember the little guy. Sorry to hear about your dog, Brian. Best wishes.
brian i fell how upset you are when i saw you in the state you were just in i almost had tears come from my eyes, but i lost my green tree ptyhon named diablo and he was the best pet i ever had R.I.P Diablo
Sorry for ur loss Brian.....I've had s couple dogs get put down cause of old age......it sucks......good show thou I watch. U guys every week....my dad got me started on watching u guys and ive learned alot from watching u guys....keep up the good vids.....?do u guys have lizards or monitor lizards?
I haven't had a major pet loss to be honest. While I have had rats, hamsters, birds, fish etc....I've never gotten as attached to them as I am with my current cat Eddie. He's a grey tiger stripe. He's 5 years old at the moment, so I am hoping to get another 15 years at least...
17 is a great old age for a dog too you should be proud !
I've had a few diff animals die, but the worst was one of my toads.
He wouldn't eat for weeks on his own so I had to start force feeding him, he wouldn't take whole crickets or meal worms. So I tried crushed cricket, calcium, meal worm in a syringe and fed it like that for about 2 months got it all fat, then one day I came home from work and he was dead.
I just lost my dog Tipsy 2 weeks ago. She would have been 16in September. She was given to me when she was 8 weeks old. A friend gave her to me 6 months after my Malamute Tulip passed at the age of 14. Brian, I really can say I know what you are going through. My prayers are with you.
Hey Brian, first i would like to say i'm so very sorry to here about you dog. And for Kel, i got my first betta fish when i was 7 years old lost him when i turned 9 i was cring like crazy.
brian im sorry that your dog died i was also hurt when my chichlilla died so i now how you fell hope you cheer up p.s im fond of your videos they are awsome :)
I just had to put my beagle sady to sleep about a month ago. I have had her ever since i was a tiny baby, and up until now i have never lived without her. She was a really great pet but it was just her time. I know exactly how oyu feel brian
I had a dog for 18 years and i am 14 she passed away about 2 years ago and i was hurt for months but u have to remeber that they are filled with pain no but they will have no pain for eternity after they are gone.oh her name was shelby and she was a german shepherd mixed!!I am so sorry brian trust me it will be ok!!
I've had plenty of snakes die and its very upsetting every time... like my normal bull snake, an okeetee corn snake, my very first California kingsnake. My green anole. When I was a little kid I had a budgie named Chickie and he died when we were away on holidays. I also had a hampster die.
i had a cat named sasha. and she was 25 years old and im only 15. my mom had her sence she was born. and ive known her my whole life. and she died about 2 years ago.
I had a chocolate lab (Cocoa). She was put dawn when she was seven due to cancer. I remember when i first felt a lump on her arm. A while later I found out it was a cancerous tumor. She was my heart and soul. Well I definitely will miss you Cocoa. :'(
Sorry for your loss Brain. When i was four i got a Uromastyx. His name was Godzilla. He was my first reptile. He was my favorite pet. He just recently past away while i was on vacation. He was 11 years old
i had lost my dog his name was rock-e i don't know what he died of but one morning i came out to check on him and he was on the ground and i started to cry because he was a very sweet , smart and playful and now i miss all the disasters he used to make even tho i got mad sometimes.
I am truly sorry Brian - the bond between a dog and owner is beyond words. I lost my afghan hound Maggie after 13 years of her life. She was with me every where I went. We had to put her down as she had lost her mental function and was getting lost in corners of the house and lost her ability to control her bladder. It was one of the saddest days of my life. I have her ashes in an urn in my house. She was a very special dog.
I had a doberman named apollo. Their average life span is 8-10 years but he lived for 13 because we tok care of him. I slept by him and he would growl at my parents if he got to close. I know how you feel brian, i was very upset when we put him down. I loved him with everything but lifes ... life .... Hes in a better place now and ill see him again.... Hope you feel better soon about it.
i remember when my pet dog Daisy died. she was about 13 years old i think, but for me she'd been around since i was born. the worst part was throughout the few years we ended up loosing all our pets due to my parent's divorce. When we moved, my mom refused to take the pets with her and the place my dad was going to didn't allow pets. i ended up loosing 2 dogs, 3 cats and a house all in a short period of time. but, you know....life goes on, right?
i wait every week to watch this. I'm truly sorry for your loss. Growing up the daughter of a veterinarian you hear stories like these all the time. It never gets any easier to hear. For me it was when my cat Furgy died after i had been away college for a semester. She died around when the animal food recall happened, if anybody remembers. She was 13. I still miss her. She was there through all of those teenage years that have all of those obstacles.
i had a buggie named kiwi. i got her when i was four and i was al little scared of her at first but after a weeks with her i couldnt spend a day without her on my shoulder she was a great bird that i miss dearly. it was a lot different waking up to silence. kiwi would always great you when you came down to have something to eat every morning with her song and bell, it was like having nature in your kitchen. She passed 6 years later i found her in her cage i was home alone that day i was 11
I had a pit bull, who was the sweetest thing on the earth. Her name was Sissy, and she was a rescue puppy, one of two of a litter of 12 we saved we kept, due to issues they had. She was blind in her right eye, and prone to seizures. I came home from school one day and while m other dogs had been at the fence to greet me, she laid on the ground. She had had a seizure while I was at school and passed away, and it was one of the hardest days I've had, and I miss her dearly.
I have had lots of pets have to get put down, old age, liver cancer, quality of life. I know how much it sucks. I still miss the black lab that I grew up with. I also had not my horses, but a client's horses get struck by lightning. I was standing in between them when it happened. I know they didn't feel any pain, but it's really hard to see them fall. It's so shocking the reality that life and leave us with a blink of an eye.
Brian, I am so sorry to hear that. My pet that died was my shar pei. He was born 2 weeks before me so I knew him my whole life. He slept right at the foot of my bed every night. It was to quiet at my house after that. I miss Sampson more than anything! He was my first dog.
well this wasnt exactly a pet but it still hurt. I found a black rat snake the other night on the side of the road, it was only about 50 degrees, and he was bleeding from the mouth, i thought maybe he had mouth rot maybe vomited from not being able to digest in the cold, so i brought him home to get him warm and take him to a vet. unfortunately he died during the night. Im still bummed about it.
My dog that I lost his name was blacky his kidneys died he was 19 he was a schipperkey we bred his mom because my mom wanted one of her puppies the mom's name was kappy she died at 15 I loved those dogs it was so sad when they died they are vary playful dogs

ive lost a dog when i was in grade school. her name is blacky. i got her when she was still a little puppy. she's very energetic and loves to run and play with me and my sister. everytime we come home, it's like she's always waiting and she always greet us with a happy face. but one day after school, when i got back home, i just saw her dead, because of the chain, it got stock and she cant breathe. i think that's how she died. sad and happy memory

I still mis that awesome prickly mouse. lol

Smoky was a cat, that I got right before moving to Colorado. We found him partially eaten shortly after the move. That was a bad one. I don't know what got him, as the vet said he coudn't really tell form the remains.

My first ball escaped once and I found him 2 days later...limp, cold and lifeless. I was utterly gutted, and not knowing what to do with the body I temporarily put it back in the viv. An hour later I returned to burry him, but miraculously the warmth had revived him!

She was 13.

Trust me I know how you feel.

throughout my child hood, my family had loads of pets in the household, from little animals like budgies and rats to dogs. it was all very upsetting when each one died (recently just lost my beloved pet rat ted) but out of all animal deaths, its most shocking and sad when a family pet dog dies, coz its not really a pet its a family member. i remember when my poodle -pepsi had to be put down to cancer at age 11 in 2001. I was so upset and grieved so much for her, the house seemed empty for months

I got upset because I felt I'd failed.

I am truly sorry Brian - the bond between a dog and owner is beyond words. I lost my afghan hound Maggie after 13 years of her life. She was with me every where I went. We had to put her down as she had lost her mental function and was getting lost in corners of the house and lost her ability to control her bladder. It was one of the saddest days of my life. i wait every week to watch this. On a happier note, keep up the good work!

She was blind in her right eye, and prone to seizures. I came home from school one day and while m other dogs had been at the fence to greet me, she laid on the ground. She had had a seizure while I was at school and passed away, and it was one of the hardest days I've had, and I miss her dearly.

I also had not my horses, but a client's horses get struck by lightning. I was standing in between them when it happened. I know they didn't feel any pain, but it's really hard to see them fall. It's so shocking the reality that life and leave us with a blink of an eye.

well this wasnt exactly a pet but it still hurt.
