People only hate this game for it's realism.  The realism makes it too hard. Which is why people go for Call of Duty. Great games but not realistic, this game to me is great and realistic. Realistic games are harder of course. Also if you don't like it for a particular reason oh well. Like it for what it is not what you want it to be. I am sixteen aiming to be a Marine so i always go for the realistic games, much better and easier for myself actually.

Well as Dragon Rising has been consolizised, completely dropping the in game editor of Operation Flashpoint (completely unrelated to Dragon Rising, by the way) and the real sequels ARMA and ARMA 2.

The Mission Editor in Dragon Rising is a separate program, and thus not available on consoles.

This DLC is awesome. I'm on 360, and (since the patch) the co-op is great. The new FTE's ramped up the difficulty too. I still don't think the teams are balanced enough for the annihalation maps but this game rocks.

the patch seemed to make absolutely no difference to my experience - when i brosw for servers it either say "could not find any servers" or you actually manage to find one thats on a map you wanna do, then it says "jojn failed" - and this is after the patch. something tells me that its gonna be a long time untill the guys that made this get to make another game. infact, sion lenton et al at codemaster should be sacked, they should be sweeping streets - cos they cant make fucking games,

i couldnt believe my eyes when i saw they were charging for the DLC - despite what anyone thinks of this game, youve gotta admit - it was mis-sold - they said it was completely open, it aint - to get to the point were youve seen the whole map itll cost about 100 pounds in DLC - the first few DLCs shoudl have been free because they only bothered putting in 4 multiplayer maps anyway, and i think they spent like 5 minutes in total building the multiplayer, im still pissed of at Codemasters for this

sometimes the graphics in this game are awesoe, especially if your up a mountain and you lok down - you can see for miles, massive landscapes, trees rivers everything - some of the vehicle models and character models are abit idgy, but i reaally dont notice that in the heat of battle, you notice the environment, not the itty bitty details

Codemasters fucked up bigtime with this. ArmA 2 is not coming to xbox this year, and it ain't looking like it will come next year. ArmA 2 has some serious graphical capabilities and xbox will not be able to run at a satisfying level. However Bohemia are interested in console gaming so they probably will look into alternatives
