Oh boy.. turns out that the much advertised $35 “Indian Tablet” isn’t actually from India. The reality is that the tablet is made by a Chinese manufacturer named Hivision, and sold as the Speedpad. It was originally seen at CeBIT this year, and Hivision said it would sell for around $100.

the future of technology depends on great innovators (like these indians here) to create there own processors and motherboards to produce an affordable and highly functional product.

if they had used intel processors or amd processors then this device would end up costing the consumer $200+ or more for the processor alone.

innovation is key to freeing ourselves from these mega corporate monopolies.
