Truck sounds good man! I just did a cam swap on my 04 Silverado a few months ago with that exact same cam. You have a different stall or gear?

well i still have the stock stall and gear which is a 3.42 but i quit racing so never did a stall swap or gear

but if u want some good number get the 3200 stall and a 3.90 gear thats was my plans so good luck with ur built

@htownplayboy  I have a Circle D 3200 stall that I put in when I did the cam swap and I just did a 4.10 gear swap yesterday. Putting it all back together tonight.

Well 226 can be te biggest cam to install on a 5.3 to run good

U can gohigher hut I woudnt recomend

But if u want some good numbers u will need a bigger stall

a cam swap runs u at 1000 with new parts and labor

the cam package runs at 600 and installation if u get it cheap its like 250

it takes 2 1/2 hours

tr220 was my first choice but then change my mine and i went with the tsp224 i think you should go with that instead

with a flaco tune, in the long run, motor will start fucking up cause flacos tunes the truck to the max. when you do that youre putting way too much pressure on the motor. many people dont realize that. thats why im sticking to wheatley, thats what i have on my truck.

if u have a 427 with thats a huge engine ur gng to need a bigger cam

well if the labor is free then ur looking to spend like 6hundre for the cam and springs and pushrods ur lucky
