i think kojo antwi is one of those artist that you anderstand as you u get older. cus wen i was younger i didnt really pay attention to his music but now am 18 hes serious one of my fav artist. i also think its because his music talks about real life issues and being inlove. all in all he is one of my fav artist along.
oh ghana seems to have top musicians who come out with tunes that competes with the african sub region.Kojo happends to be one great artist especially with this song
Musically, there are some similarities between Kojo's song here and Michael Jackson's "Human Nature." I wonder if Michael was influenced by Kojo's music. Do you think?
@coucoucaz: basically, this song says, "It's going to be just me and you till the very end; When you are down just make me aware and I will be the rainbow in your sky; when you are sad, I will kiss away your tears; when you are cold; will clothe you with my warmth; when I wrong you, be prepared to forgive me; nobody is perfect and to err is human; I will be your guiding star in your dark night leading you safely home." It's in Twi, a Ghanaian language. You're welcome. Enjoy!
@spacychris unfortunately, I don't have any idea where you can find lyrics. All I did was to paraphrase/summarize the song just from listening to it. I understand the language.
@mayaki4vr That's because when we were younger we didn't know what love felt like, but now we are older and have experienced those kind of feelings we are able to relate to what he's saying. I felt the same way about love songs when i was younger, i thought they were disgusting because they made me uncomfortable. But now i understand my feelings and emotions more, songs like this make me feel at ease because someonelse understands.
@pepelecutie yeah thats very true, i totally agree w/u but even beyond the fact that i could not relate to the sentiments he expressed when i was a child....his songs made me saaad for some reason, it just had this somber, gloomy feel to it juxtaposed to say a Lumba who also did love songs but in a different way. He is a great musician tho no doubt and the fact that he has been able to remain relevant for such a longtime attest to that fact.
