it owuld be impossible for ulquiorra to love orihime even if he wasn't dead. His trait is emptiness. He is unable to feel any emotion or even undertand them. This is proven in the final fight. He didn't understand why ichigo wouldnt give up or why he wouldn't let go of his sword.
