I will not, and I doubt that most people will not, based on what I saw with Bad Company 2 (which also did not have integrated VOIP), add people to my friends list every time I join a new squad or someone new arrives or if I've been autobalanced, or if the map changes and now I'm on a different squad/team, in the middle of gameplay... and I also have to keep going back to Battlelog to add to the party

This scheme will not fly for pub communities (by which I mean people who play often with new people as well as with "regulars", all of whom also post in the same forum. Maybe it's fine for clans that already exist, but not the teamplay-oriented pub player. the console players don't know what they're missing in terms of real gaming communities. Also, what about the visual minimap feedback you get from in-game VOIP when someone speaks?
