  • Great! Grace in their voices shine!

  • I've always loved this since I heard the Albion Band perform it at the end of 'The Nativity' at the National Theatre in 1980. I don't know why it's not more widely sung. It is also published at the back of Bob Copper's book, 'A Song For Every Season', which I've still got lying about upstairs somewhere. Must have another look at it. Lovely performance. Thanks for putting this up.

  • @chriscboland - glad you liked it. I think the Albion Band and cast doing it for 'The Nativity' was the first time I had heard it as well. I came across it again on a Young Tradition/Shirley Collins album when we were looking for other unaccompanied songs to do and then remembered 'The Mysteries' as well and decided to learn it up.

    Regards - John
