  • WOW SO REALESTIC! I CANT BELIEVE SPACE MARINES USED WOOD WITHOUT AND PLATING WHATSOEVER!

Dude, I am 11, and I made a space marine breatplate, in like and hour, and it is 98% Real...well it looks real...

  • this music sucks!

  • Nice! not bad at all!

  • I can really appreciate the hard work you guys are putting into this. Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see the final outcome. You guys have real talent here, know that!

  • its not real till you replace your organs with new ones and cybernetic implants and fuse urself into the armor :P

  • hes got a point, a real, detailed costume will take you at leastmonth, maybe nearly a year depending on how much effort and detail you put into it, a simple one may take months, but a real amazingly detailed one would be nearly a year, also depending on how much time you got to work on it, so stop acting awsome and say you can do it in 2 hours : D youd probebly end up with a shitty cardboard box outfit, no offense

  • to be honest guys I can't see why everyone else is complaining. So far you guys have made quite good progress and it looks quite good. If you guys want an alternative to a helmet then make a phychic hood instead. A good effort all round. BR42

  • the newer chest pieces look more like Fallout 3 BoS Power Armour, whereas the older pieces look more like 40k, you could have just given it shit ass thick lining, and besides, you'd need that extra room for when you get that celebratory beer belly once your finished ^_^

  • why do all fags like heavy metal

  • @sixtyninerbros First off, this is just metal, not heavy metal, and it's better then most other music nowadays, imo.

  • what is the name of the music?

  • @dkthordk Hammerfall - Last man standing

  • i've maybe overlooked it, but is there a link to where the guide is??

  • boring... I WAS HOPING TO SEE A PLATE OF STEEL, FORGED IN HOT FIRES BELLOWING FROM THE MOLTEN LAVA, UPON AN ANVIL WITH ONLY YOUR RAW STRENGTH AND A MASSIVE THUNDERING HAMMER

...not a tenth grade project made of popsicle sticks.

  • @bombb82 I hope it's just irony ;-)

  • @elgringodado No offence but I'm 14 and could do this in like 2 hours. Maybe less.

  • @iDarkMadness Oh yes, I'd like to see those 2 hours. Get real kid, it's impossible. We thought it will be quick, painless job, but god we were wrong

  • The helmet would be like the hardest peice to make. Fortunate how some marines dont wear the right. Youve got the eyes in like an indent just above the upside down knights helmet visor and theres the scoop on the head which goes to 2 'pieces' at the side of the helmet. I have to ask if youll be adding any of those like badges that ive seen people putting on all thier terminators between their torso and shoulder plate. I had something that looked like that but im trying to find it again.

  • @riceball999 Actually, the helmet was the easy part.

No, our Chapters don't have those badges. We think it's pointless to have it.

  • @riceball999 not rly, just carve it our of foam and make an acrylic mould, piece of piss.

  • I also found this guide but can't figure out how to build the helmet can anyone help

  • rgey knights armour are supposed to be big as hell :D

  • i'd look 4 a doctor

  • Gonna be awesome.

  • woohooo Hammerfall!

  • Comment removed

  • looking forward to the final product guys =)

  • Poland ftw! I love the project, please, keep it up!

  • Ill be keeping an eye on you guys !

looking good so far, but one piece of critique though... i think the lower-legs are a bit to straight

  • That may be so, but as you can see our lower-legs protects knees also. That makes them a little bit higher than yours and more straight then it should really be. Also lower part of lower-legs is modified to be more comfortable so it can change point of view. We think that some things needed to be changed for better comfort of walking and movement itself.

  • Looks awesome so far!

Now... For those curious and wanting their own set of Space Marine... Or for those REALLY crazy ones wanting their own Terminator armor...

Would it be impolite to ask about how money has gone into this? For materials and such. And how much do you think this will end up costing in the end?

I like the idea of using a wooden frame quite a bit. I'll be following this build!

  • After all it won't be a Terminator armour. It will be a Aegis Armour.

About cost... For now it would be something about 400 PLN means 120$ for TWO armours. In the end it will be 200-250$ maybe less.

  • Aegis Armor is JUST as awesome on the Bad-Ass scale though... In some ways, the Silver actually making it stand out more than Terminator Armor.

$200-250 for two suits? That is NOT bad at all!

Thanks for the information... and best of luck with the build! As I said, I'll definitely be following this!

  • Gringo - remember that this picture titled "don't even ask" was my proposition to change skeleton of shoulder to upper ending of Terminator armour. FOr the Emperor and saint Inguisition
