I was in the bleachers, row 12. His second home run landed in row 10 two seats in front of me. It was an absolute rocket. The second he hit it I just saw it coming to me and I was freaking out. Out of the 36,000 people there the ball was coming right to the exact seat I was sitting in.. but it fell short!! Amazing moment, by far the best way to cap off my first year of college in Boston haha. That's what it's all about-- the Sox.

splitting hairs, I would take either on my team they are the most feared right hand hitters in baseball....but for over all I will take a-rod, manny plays left field worse than a 5 year old, again, I would take either, but a-rod is the best pure hitter in baseball.....PS...I hate the yankees if that makes it more legit

Actually Manny is an extremely good Left Fielder, it's just not what he's known for. And A-Rod, aside from being a good hitter, is a horrible Clutch Hitter, he chokes in pressure situations, and he plays an awful third base. Manny is way more clutch and ultimate, I think, that counts more.

It depends on what month and what inning it is. April-June in the 1st-7th inning I suppose you could make a case for A-rod. But August-October, 8th inning on, you are foolish for even considering A-Rod to be better than Manny.

I was in the bleachers, row 12. His second home run landed in row 10 two seats in front of me. It was an absolute rocket. The second he hit it I just saw it coming to me and I was freaking out. Out of the 36,000 people there the ball was coming right to the exact seat I was sitting in.. but it fell short!! Amazing moment, by far the best way to cap off my first year of college in Boston haha. That's what it's all about-- the Sox.
