  • dude you are blazed stop lying...look at your eyes

  • this man is a hero

  • the war on drugs is a war on you

legalize all drugs, the only people illegal drugs benefits is the people bringing in the drugs like the cia,the cartels, and the fascists, and the people building for profit jails ...wake the fuck up..

  • legalized drugs in Portugal and it was a big success. rates of hiv and crime dropped. apparently mexico was going to do the same but then a certain influential northern neighbour had something to do with it.

  • why?

  • how about using the fear of death by removing healthcare availability to the poor and middleclass. Power over life and death...now that is what I call an effective way to control the healthcare market! ....hibraisil is right about Germany. poolman it looks like your debate skills could use some help. Try giving up on a point when you are wrong. There is nothing wrong with being corrected on a topic that one is "misinformed" about.

  • It is a little ironic that the only guy who shows up anymore doesn't smoke weed.

  • Does NH have a 3 strikes Law? If so, allot of the activist would be behind bars for 25 years like us here in Cali.

  • the old republic in star wars, duh

  • FREE MARC EMERY!!!!

  • If you support agorism, are you for the legalisation just to make the whole market safer and drive prices down? ... I guess so.

  • hats off to this guy!

  • those people broke the law

  • hell yes!

  • I'm not for the legalization at all, and I use to smoke weed. I think it's just a way to keep everybody high all the time so they're out of the way for the government. That's just my opinion. I agree with you, Ridley, on all of your open carry videos though, great job on those.

  • The problem with your statement is that stoners tend to be a lot more politically active than the average person. In fact the DEA once put out a pamphlet for parents on how to tell if your child MIGHT be smoking Pot and one of the signs they listed was "an unusual interest in political issues."

  • Yeah such as people going to the 420 smokeouts or those other protests, I understand that. I'm just saying I think it will be alot more used than alcohol if legalized (high in public, high in school, on the job etc...)

  • There are always people high in public. They're just not like drunks who go staggering around looking for fights. You're thinking of the law as a tool for social engineering but you know as well as I do that you never deserved to be arrested just because you smoked. There's no justice in that. Besides, I would gladly have more people roaming around stoned if it meant cutting all the criminals out of the market, which regulation would do like it did with booze...mostly.

  • I doubt pot would be more used than alcohol if it was legalized. I doubt it would be used much more than it is now!

I can't imagine that legalization would lead to people going to work high either. You would still get fired if you went to work high, regardless of whether or not its legal.

  • Funny, I was thinking the same thing about you.

  • But I'm not rallying anyone to my cause.

  • Well don't you think you should be? You're the one that went on and on about how bad it is for the people in North Korea when we were arguing privately. Or is it that you don't really care you just wanted to have something to bitch about?

  • Well, we agree on that at least. You may not like these people or what they are fighting for. But at least they're fighting. No one is going to free North Korea but the North Koreans. You also seem to be unable to grasp the big picture. If you don't bother to fight for the "stupid" rights in your own country then you will end up having your own North Korea.

  • Really? Then what's the alternative? Who's going to free them? Why don't you go read some history and see just how many times a population has been freed by outside interference.

The comparison is valid. We know the cumulative effects of losing rights a little at a time so we fight against each tiny encroachment rather than wait until its an almost impossible task like the North Koreans face.

  • You really are a dumb fuck. Are you misunderstanding me on purpose? I didn't say the US was exactly like NK. I said that it is easier to fight against incremental attacks on freedom than it is to oppose a whole system once it is in place. And what I said is still true. IF NK ever becomes free then it is going to have to be the people of NK who make it happen. God knows you're not doing anything to help them.

  • Attention dumb fuck. If people were not willing to be activists and fight for freedoms then yes, the US would end up being like any other oppressive regime. If this concept is too much for you to comprehend then I'm surprised you are even literate enough to read these comments. In fact I'm amazed even found your way out of the birth canal. Or maybe you think the US is a magical la la land where power hungry people would never want to run everyone else's lives.

  • Germany: Hitler replaced the democratic Weimar Republic.

Uganda: Obote and then Idi Amin replaced a democratic Ugandan Govt 4 years after independence.

Cambodia: Pol Pot replaced a democratic Cambodian Government

  • Iran, 1953. An elected leader is overthrown to install a dictator, the Shah. Engineered by the American and British governments who then helped keep him in power against the will of the people.

    Dumb fuck.

  • The instability was artificially created. Also, although the regime changes happened quickly the governmental changes happened slowly. Hitler didn't get into power and then suddenly start killing Jews. He spent years building the power and authority of the government over the lives of people and then closed the trap. This is elementary stuff and I'm sick of arguing with someone who doesn't know it. You're dismissed.

  • What a stupid argument.

You really think health care reform is the doorway to naziism? Seriously?

If the government simply wanted more power (for the purpose of . . . what, exactly? You never specified that part), why not just create another 9/11? Why not declare war somewhere else and institute a draft? If this was all a massive scheme by the government to acquire power (for whatever purpose), there are surely better and more effective ways to do so than health care reform.

  • p00lman my love, why are you so shy, let the world know about US!

  • Dismissed.

  • I love it when they can't form a response.

  • Don't argue with p00lman as if he is a regular human. He is my personal sex slave and fuck toy.

  • Man! It's pretty cold out there and there he is all by himself. Awesome!

  • You know that guy is lit...

  • lol.. he doesn't have to smoke to be for legalization.

  • i know i'm gonna get yelled at, but there is an argument for keeping it illegal. it does have an adverse affect on the brain and reproductive organs, and if it was made totally legal, it would become extremely cheap, like 20 - 30 bucks an ounce, maybe 60 for high grade. the illegal price kind of keeps people from over doing it, but if it was legal, people would smoke joints like cigarettes and lose there short term memory. but you might have less alcoholism so idk

  • It's expensive price drives people to do harder, cheaper drugs. All drugs should be made legal, drive the prices down so people won't be robbing liquor stores for their crack habit.

  • nope your wrong viking. there's nothing substantiate what you said. the reason they don't want it legal is because it can be used for other things. they want you to think it's bad because they couldn't sell you pharmaceuticals if you knew it had medicinal values and you could grow your own out of the ground. It would also stop the phony drug war reducing all the money wasted on that. Less people use in countries where it's legalized. watch run from the cure.

  • thomas edison even made a car out of hemp called the hemp car. there's so many uses for it many corporations would be put out of business because it works better. it's simply another suppressive law that keeps us from having medicinal marijuana and hemp products. we could cure ourselves without big pharma. .

  • That wasn't Edison. It was Henry Ford. But still...good point.

  • I'm not yelling at you but correcting. There has never been any REPEATABLE study that has shown that Pot harms either the brain, repro system or any other part of the body. A lot of what you have heard over the years has been discredited. Also, when things are illegal is when they become more harmful. Look up "bathtub gin." Even the short term memory thing is bull. That happens only when stoned kinda like alcohol destroys balance but it comes back when you're sober.

  • i've been off weed for like 2 months now, and i know that it has an affect on the brain, how long term it is, idk, but i certainly am not 100% mentally the next day, maybe its just me. the combination of weed and cigarettes is really bad, though i might not have smoked cigarettes if i had access to cheap weed, but then i'd be stoned all the time. its a complicated issue i think. if you made it legal, it would become really cheap so people you'd have a lot more dead heads than you do now

  • I think you are confusing the effects of cannabis with nicotine. Get a clue man.

  • yea but there would be a lot less people in jail and a lot less crime related to the black market. When's the last time two liquor store owners started shooting each other over customers? When it was illegal.

  • there are a lot less people in jail for weed than there use to be.i don't think anyone except people on parole and probation go to jail for weed in california.its a complicate issue really, maybe the best solution would be to make it only legal for the state to sell it, so you could keep the price artificially high and generate badly need revenue for our government, what do you think?

  • I don't think the government should get a dime. I feel it should go away now. The government selling anything is a bad idea, because they can't sell anything without stealing something first. It's like me stealing your car and then selling it the next day.

  • i don't think 5 dollar ounces would be good for society.

  • Written like a true Scandinavian...ha! LOL!!

How high are the taxes on alcohol and tobacco in Norway/Sweden...etc.???? Washington State???

Well, in WA State the taxes are $23/gallon on hard liquor.

Ahh for the days of Vikings on psychedelic mushrooms storming the Emerald Isle of my ancestors.

  • if you make it only legal for the state to grow and sell it, you prevent the market from being flooded with cheap marijuana and you help fill a gaping budget hole, sounds good to me. the dynamics of marijuana use takes on a whole nother level if one can get good chronic for 20-30 an ounce. democratic societies need to be smartened up, not dumbed down. next thing you know well have some dumbass reggae singer for a president.

  • A good first step would be getting the feds out of it and letting each state decide for itself how it wants to regulate it. That would, coincidentally, also be the constitutional way to do it.

  • Your first sentence is incorrect. Its not so much that people are getting huge sentences, although some do. But when someone gets arrested for weed they DO get handcuffed, locked up, usually convicted and end up with a permanent record. The best thing to do would be to regulate it like alcohol. Let honest citizens sell it under rules set by their town or state and let anyone who wants to make their own supply...just like people make their own wine or beer.

  • how about just stop trying to gain ownership over the bodies of other people.

  • how bout no?

  • Its 5150 to just dwell on marijuana, the government will do what it wants regardless. Try shooting for a higher target...
