  • Every storm chaser should invest in RainX for all windows for higher visibility during rain.

  • Stop filming the ground and sky having sex...pervs.

  • @MrTr0llol that wasn't even remotely funny =/

  • u guys are crazy and very lucky

    but, you are also awesome

  • lol At 2:01 Reed said "It's WHITE in front of us." I don't know if it was intentional or not but either way it was pretty funny.

  • これはやばいw

  • awesome XD

  • Have you got the data

  • I had a feeling

  • Reed, get some flashing led lights in the probes so you can track them visually as well. Also a portable version of the cannon like an rpg type of device would be kinda cool. Would add a little dramatic effect for the viewers if we could see you firing probes at a funnel up close haha

  • @jasonluisj good idea. There are some hi-tech LED's available now. They should try to get some Cree XP-G LED's which are very small, and very bright. They are capable of putting out over 300 lumens. Putting a few around each probe and flashing them would be pretty visible.

  • @wadefulp I agree with both of you. High intensity LEDs and their batteries will not add much weight to the package. I remember seeing in one of the Discovery videos that Hyperion created a new version of probe that has 2 radios in it. One for close proximity data gathering and the other for Probe tracking once they enter the vortex. Light will work often where radios can not be heard. So long as the LEDs have a different power source than the radios.

  • @jasonluisj "Also a portable version of the cannon like an rpg type of device" aka spud gun or potato gun.

  • These boys are so fucking crazy haha. I love it. Good job team dominator.

  • thats cool

  • you guys are awsome

  • reed is a doucebag the joel dude is the coolest from them but reed is anoyng and not likable .....dominating dominating dominating like wth STFU BITCH!!!!

  • Your air cannons sound like air brakes!

  • chuck norris was using his huge vacuum cleaner which he cleans the earth with and also destroy things he doesn't like

  • I wanna chase tornadoes!!!!

  • here in ireland we do get tornadoes but i only ever saw funnel cloud that did not touch down and we did get a hurricane charlie one time but our big storms are normally thunderstorms or a european windstorms which are kinda like a hurricane except there non tropical

  • chuck norris got angry.

  • @mytdog24 WHY THE FUCK DOES CHUCK NORRIS HAVE TO BE IN EVERY COMMENT?! I FUCKING HATE IT!

  • @mytdog24 your sooooooo original. Wonder where you got that from. That comment is the top comment on every tornado vid and its irrelevance to the modern times sickens me.

  • TORNADRRRRREEEEEE, omg nooooooo!

  • THATS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!

  • omg i wanna visit south dakota!!!!!!!! sadly i live in japan...... I FUKIGN WANNA SEE A TORNADO IN REALITY!!!!!!!!!

  • @lilballer69er I can only imagine your pain, it's quite the experience in person. nothing else compares

  • @spyguy49 lol soo true!!!!! i mean its soo beautiful!!!! but also dangerous.....nature is one heck of a killer...lol ITS SO.............INTERESTING!!!

  • My birthday

  • that looks like a F4 or a F5

  • @ryanshepherd78910 The only problem is you can't tell how strong a tornado is by its size. The F5 Oakfield, Wisconsin tornado was only a hundred yards wide, and some 2+ mile wide tornadoes have produced F1 damage.

  • @Lessinath o right thanks for telling me all this

  • @ryanshepherd78910 how could you possibly know, a half mile wide tornado can be an f2, it is all about windspeed

  • @snowmobilejon5000 i thought it looked like 1 thats all ..

  • you are realy freaky!! o:

  • they should arrest the tnado for going over the speed limit

  • @Emenem4eva lol funny! xD

  • how close/far are you guy are for the tornado

  • waou incroyable tornado

  • Congratulations on getting your probes into the Tornado, that is a great accomplishment! Great job guys!

..My heart goes out to anyone that loses a family or friend or someone they know during a tornado...

  • all throughout the midwest its like this.

  • wat are they launching

  • woow....i like it:d

    i love the tornadoes:x

  • What are the white sparks at the end? are they the probes or UFOs??lol nice video guys!

  • better come to Iowa.....were due....they had us surrounded yesterday....no official word yet....but trained spotters and troopers all over saw funnel clouds and naders on the ground....too bad I work in a hospital....not like I can go for the basement....sigh....

  • good to see you guys are still in action reed!! you guys didnt see the twister that hit montana did ya? we got pounded well for our standards they need to put you guys back on tv

  • @Estill01 they will its just that they let them catch all the fotage then turn it into a whole season of storm chasers usually during winter because no major storm action occurs during that season so they will have another seeason of all tornadoes they've captured over that period of time.

  • @Familyguy098 oh ya ya definatly but i dont think they have anothr season up so who knws

  • Good job on the intercept! Which town was this twister close to?

  • "EVERY VIDEO HAS A FUNNY PART, IM TRYING TO LAUGH BUT THIS SHIT AINT FUNNY" (C) MRAUSSIEBOGAN.

  • they have guts, BIG GUTS!

  • The Chasers' ideas of "beautiful" is much different than mine :D

Part of me wants to have this job and chase what I fear.

  • Comment removed

  • you all are crazy but i whould ride with you guys any day

  • This was on my Birthday!!!

  • @TheMattForSoccer89 Was my birthday too!!!! glad I wasn't there...I hate when it rains on my birthday....and then there is my tornado phobia...ah such is life with a spring birthday---it usually rains...

  • the tornado was darker at 0:17

  • You guys ROCK!! AWESOME!!

  • UGH! How did we not chase this storm.....oh well....at least we got a tornadic storm in Rushville NE.

  • Truly amazing work to advance our warning system. I am so loving this.

  • What EF scale was it?

  • @teddymurphy95 I believe it was rated EF-4 by the NWS because it was lifting truly heavy farm tractors and just blowing them away. I am pretty sure it was EF-5 at a couple of points along its journey, but because it was in the countryside and thankfully didn't hit anything, we will never know. Then again, from a logical standpoint, there isn't much difference between a high end EF-4 and a low end EF-5, save the glory of being the strongest of the strong. I wouldn't want either lol.

  • I wish I was there with you guys, thats awesome footage having a tornado right next to you like that, how much are tickets for that rush?

  • take me with you...please for once

  • wow

  • Wasn't the tornado probe cannon tried in the 1980's?

  • WOW so close!!!

  • Nice!

  • 0:28,it looks like hooker oklahoma may 5,1993!!!!!

  • I really hope they release this data, and not keep it to themselves. These probes could be used in a microscale grid model and povide a huge ammount of insight into tornado formation and wind patterns once on the ground.

  • @Wxweenie91 I highly doubt they would go and spend all the money making the probes just to keep the data for themselves...

  • their going like 150 mph.

  • That's awesome. I crack up with Reed, that guy is insane, but truly inspiring. Godspeed, fellas.

  • You guys are STUDS!

  • There better be another season! I love that show!

  • you are disturbing angels from vacume cleaning

  • OMG

  • Good catch.

    Very good looking video.

I'm glad they had data gathering equipment.

  • That was great! I just wish that Discovery would let you tell us more about what happened. It feels like they own you now, before discovery came along it felt like we had more information about what happened. Did the probes have cameras on them? (I'm sure they did) You should let your fans see that footage.

  • @pokemonbreeder18

Well...of course Reed can only show so much. This is like a teaser for the Discovery series.

    INCREDIBLE footage though!

  • what a load of drama over nothing, big deal, i got more power in my vacuum cleaner!!!!!!!!!

  • This is really cool!

  • Reed Timmer and company are absolutely insane. This is incredible footage!!!

    Keep up the good work

  • @panetrain So is it safe to say that there will be another season of Storm CHasers?

  • WOW*******

  • Ahh man... You folks at TVN actually DEVASTATE the tornado chasing scene! Seriously, Reed and company, your work never ceases to amaze and inspire me, and you should be so proud of what you accomplish.

Balls of titanium just right there. Spiral out, keep going! <3

  • I love your guys videos. Nice catch here.

  • Someone correct me, but TVN gets by far the best tornado footage, and also in a pretty good constantness. Great work and congratz to your success!

  • @JulianOnBass That's because Reed and his team have the most fortitude to go after and actually get that close to them....

  • blurry tornado lol

  • wicked!

  • you guys can always find the tornados, but the whole damn team of vortex cant seem to find crap this year.

  • @167tyler They find it. They just won't get close enough so you can actually see it which, in itself, is somewhat pointless to watch it.

  • wow that's friggen awesome =D reed timmer is insane =D shooting probes into a tornado lol that's ftw =P

  • @kk9man 80.555mph

  • intense!! can't get enough guys, keep em coming, and be safe!!

  • Great intercept, people!

  • @kk9man

    google it

  • Scary but awesome at the same time.

  • Awesome video guys!!!

  • Wow i got to see this one live!

  • Second wedge in The state since may 22 or 23? These things are massive, Glad you guys got a good cannon probe successfuly launched on your first try, Good luck hope more tornadoes occur today!

  • Damn! Talk about getting up close! Can't get much closer without being inside the thing from the looks of it.

  • very awesome tornadoes wow! I am such a severe thunderstorm and tornado fan. Holy Cow!

  • Awesome! Looking forward to know if it worked or not.

  • i dont know why tornadoes fascinate me...maybe its the power they have

  • @zythepsarian also holy SHIT did you get close to it....so very close, dangerous as hell man

  • Hey...I bet you could probably get one of these dumb utube users thats looking for viewer to their channel to ride along with you, and when the time is right just drop them off in the path and film them being sucked up! Nice hunt..and stay safe!

  • @HiddenCaveMan haha i hear ya. God I'd love to do that, seriously.

  • Sweet Footage guys!

  • 2:26 í have schit in the shorts!!!!!

  • well if the tornado is that far, use a rocketry system to deliver the probes straight to the core... no need to race towards it. i'm pretty sure it could be useful and much safe specially when chasing EF4 - EF5+ where even TIV2(3?) cant chase...

  • i figured you cats were in S Dakota yesterday, nice footage!! =P

  • IMO it was not a success..the tornado was too far away

  • Comment removed

  • thats what im talking about, up front an personal

  • Was looking at the radar today, figured you guys were catching this sick action!

  • Can't wait to hear if you got any good pressure readings from inside the tornado!

  • wow*****

  • Amazing chasing......Congrats!!!!!

  • Wow great footage already this year. Very cool.

  • it show did have a lot of earth quake and tornado this year and the year is not even close to finish.

  • olay do it

  • That thing sounds like a clown horn :)

    Awesome work!

  • WOW awesome Reed! The Dominator is back i guess. right?

  • damn guys u guys are fucking amazing....you are taking stormchasing to the next level...its awesome that u dont just chase them u want to get info to help save lives and learn more about them.....GO FLYERS!!!

  • The Dominator mating call strikes!

  • sweet

  • Great footage; five stars! Stay safe, guys!

  • I can't believe you guys where able to deploy Cannon Probe successfully that quickly. That is amazing, great job and awesome intercept.

  • Glad I am on vacation. Otherwise I wouldn't have been too far from all this....

  • Awesome.

  • DOMINATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is amazing. You guys are totally fearless. If one of my sons did this for a living I don't think I'd ever sleep at night from worrying!

  • fucking crazy LOL

  • Incredible.

  • sweet, the new system is working well then :)

  • i watched this via your website live- you guys are the best! the vortex 2 team needs to learn from you guys how to find a tornado and get things done!

  • Comment removed

  • Man you guys aren't showing ANYTHING on Youtube this year! I don't want to wait until fall to see the action! Show us the intercepts!

  • @huntstyle They have posted full intercepts. Plus this could be Discovery telling them to not show it all so people will want to watch

  • Tornadoes are just Awesome !! :D

  • I know it's been less than a day and they likely haven't finished the damage assessments on these tornadoes, but what do you suppose are their estimated ratings?

  • Great job! I was so excited when I saw that they worked!

  • Congrats on the probes! You guys are awesome. Keep it up.

  • good job guys, keep up the good work, come to Kansas soon it should be about time for one to pop up here.

  • WoW

  • Sweet!! :)

  • These storms were moving pretty fast, especially the tornado over in Faith, SD, apparently.

  • Thrid comment :) You record the most awesome storms! Keep up the great work!
