I hated this kind of teeny bop music when I met Samantha in the mid 70's. I was 17, she was 15 and she was way too into the Bay City Rollers. I was into Metal, but I agreed to take her that Friday night to one of their concerts in Detroit, 1977. I couldn't stand the screetching girls, but the way it made Sam feel, was worth my discomfort. Sam still occasionally listens to the Rollers and gets these pre teen romantic flashbacks that made me smile.
