  • After all this time it is really nice to have you back, Jim, music need you!

  • This is greatttttttt

  • Nice to hear a Doors song that Ive never heard. But yeah it's crap! I really liked that 30 second snippet that was added to the re-release of The Soft Parade

  • the real legend

  • 1st time i heard this song, how did this one get by me i'll never know.

  • Jimmy's not dead...<3

  • I often wondered when they had to take his body up from the grave in 2001 cos his lease was up, did anyone have a peek in the coffin to make sure that Morrison really is dead?

  • I've always loved The Doors but this is not good....at all.

  • @seano81 so you haven't really loved The Doors

  • @seano81 then ur aint a true fan.... im a fan of joy division, theres awful live videos of him, but those are gold to me!!!

  • "Long time coming, long time coming, for when you found it baby you found something good"

Looks to me he knew this song would be released in the future, foresight Jim

  • I paused my porn for this song!

  • This should have stayed unreleased..the vocals are crap and uninspiring..a jam for greater things maybe..

  • Sounds like a demo, average song so can see why it never made the record.

  • @tet1963 dont angry, the michrophone sounds weird but it has charm

  • Это же ПЭТТИ из Моджи!!!

  • arrepiante Jim! Doors para sempre...

  • So jim, 40 years after your death... We meet again! and im sure ill meet you someday when im not around anymore myself. I hope we can get a beer and piss in janis joplins glass of southern comfort.

  • Wow! might not be the best pop tune of the times, but the groove is amazing and the playing is outstanding. The c

Vocals are stellar. I love Jerry Scheff's bass parts.

  • it is clear why this wasn't included in la woman, but the spirit it's there, not hte best track from them, but still i got an erection, 41 years after...

  • i can understand why this was not included, quite mediocre. Not bad though.

  • inutile

  • I like the nostalgia of the song, and I am great Doors fan, but lets be honest... the song is not great...

  • non mi sembra vero.......

  • i'm 16 years old and i love this music

  • It is nice to hear news from you, Jim!

  • Absolutely great! despite of the sound not in high quality but that's The Doors, what else? Thank you for posting

  • DOOORS fuck yeaaaaaaaaaaa !!!!!!!!

  • thats so cool when that happen, hear a new song from a so great band after 40 years! yeas welcome back jim!

  • omg there still alive also Elton John is stll alive lol

  • pourquoi ressortir un titre de derrière les cartons si c'est pour nous y coller un son pourri ?

  • Damn, the Doorz have so many reissuez that it's not even funnee

  • thumb if you listened it in 1971. :D LOL.

  • is so strange to hear a new song of the doors after 40 years ... it's like going to hear for the first time ... I feel like I'm back 12 years

  • Dio creò la musica jim Morrison la suonò Rock !!!

  • good track, but the vocals are not up to stratch, shouldnt of released it.

  • @UnkleJohn84

Sounds pretty good, considering the state he was in by the time they recorded this album.

  • Jim esta de vuelta .... cuidado justin bieber !!

  • Robby Krieger is one of the most underrated guitar players.

  • This has such a I Got My Mojo Working vibe to it.

  • Love that Chicago blues sound,

  • 14 people dont smell so nice..

  • @arijitanywhere 17 people dont smell so nice from rt

  • 40 years!!!!! so great to hear his voice in a new song!!!

  • smoking a bowl to this song... nice to have you back jimbo.

  • Smoking 1 for you Jimbo! We love you brother!

  • What about "Paris Blues" when are they releasing that and The footage from The Isle Of Wight Festival?

  • @halfsloppy7371 you can get them on pirate copies.

  • to jest, KURWA, The Doors, brzmi nieco jak 'Mystery Train' z koncertów z aquarius theater, ale i tak nieziemskie!

  • I'm so happy this was found, you think there would have been more earlier. Thanks Jim!

  • @MyDarkestSin1 they prob new all about this and prob gonna be many more still to be released in future for example doors 50th/60th anniversarys etc

  • That's what I'm talking about Jimmy. Bring us the blues.

  • Welcome Back Jim ......

  • Excuse me while I squeal in a very fangirly fashion and then remove all my articles of clothing and squeal even more in a fangirly fashion

  • It's been a long time coming!

  • amanzing

  • Oh man... this brings the goosebumps. Thanks for uploading this truly beautiful blues song.

  • HEY!! I agree with ziribai!!

  • cool jimbo blues song. Wonder why they dropped it.

  • wwwwwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooo

  • really nice :d

  • Jim is wasted.

  • good song bad quality recording,no wonder it was en-released.

  • brand new;-) Mr. Mojo Risin.

  • Simply AWESOME to be listening to a new song of The Doors.

  • Great

  • I just knew something BIG would happen in 2012! :D

  • Dang!, thats an amazing song!, I know Jim in purpose to hide this song for the next The Doors fans in the future, nice try The Lizard King :)

  • unbelievable how they are still finding new stuff. Wonder what other unheard raraties they have in archive gathering dust. Cant wait till 24th jan to hear it proper on my stereo

  • Awesome!!!

  • incredible

  • Immortali come sempre!!!!

  • Hey Jimbooooooooooooooooooo ! Still Rocking !

  • Great feeling to be one of first listeners of The Doors song.

  • this is amazing. i miss jimbo. ha.

  • Sublime... Jim sei ancora tra noi e lo sarai sempre!

  • Coooool alot like Ive got my mojo workin;

  • I love the sound. So raw. Jim, I feel like I knew ya.

  • It's hard to believe Bruce Botnick and Ray Manzarek didn't/couldn't have done a better job on the sound. Good lyrics, though!

  • ive been down and ive been up. I love my woman

  • My heart just skipped a beat.

  • Are there any other unreleased songs from Doors ???

    It's a great Rock n Roll song !!!

  • do jaja :D

  • @belegija3D koja sreća!! :D

  • would of been nice if they would of cleaned it up a bit

  • wonder who's playing bass?

  • @ewilkers7 Most likely Jerry Scheff

  • @ewilkers7 Jerry Sheff was brought in to play bass on the L.A. woman album, Marc Benno to play guitar. Sheff and Benno were going to tour with the band, but Morrison's death canceled those plans.

  • There are many unreleased songs/jams by not only the doors, but most other classic bands.. I've found that if I've written a dozen songs then I've probably got a hundred more melody pieces/licks/progressions for future writing.... I'd only keep a portion of the material to record and test out. And of this material I would cut it down even more before recording an EP or LP. It just isn't possible to release everything. It flows out faster than you can control it! MUST LOVE THE MUSIC :) PEACE!

  • I am a big fan of the Doors and this song sounds like something done in a garage. Doesn't even sound like prime Jim Morrisson.

  • @bronsonski52 I think it was a "demo" and never was polished or re-recorded for the album. This version, added to the 40th Anniversary re-issue of L.A. Woman, is in it's original, rough format.

  • i'm 19 and is strange listen this for the first time on youtube, in 60's the new records was listened on vinyl......now on youtube......anyway that's strange sensation but great!!!!sorry for english..ale from italy

  • Previously unreleased, unhearded one?? Awesome

  • fuck yea, new doors material!

  • I think there was a reason why this song was never released.

  • @miacevedo09 agreed ... not their best

  • As a true Doors Disciple I have to say I LOVE this release. It is so perfect for this album. It goes along with the genre of what the band was doing at the time. Pulling it out now and comparing it to today's music is not going to make it a hit. We can hardly compare Jim Morrison to any current artist; Jim would kick their ass! Awesome blues sound, I can't wait to own the anniversary DVD & CD edition. Thanks Bruce, Ray, Robbie & John!!!

  • the best

  • sucks balls

  • ...mmm nice

  • Absolute craparoni!

  • Kickass! 20,472 Why is it only showing my views?

  • awh new material yes!! :D

  • Oh WOW!! L O V E it !!!

  • Ladies and gentleman, from Los Angeles, California: The Doors !!

  • I liked the doors but there is a reason why some songs stay behind... because they sound horrible like this one.

If you want to honor a great band like the doors don't put out the songs they didn't want it either.

  • 2Pac all over again!!!

  • Jim Morrison lives!!

  • 40 years later and the The Doors still got it

  • im so happy this was discovered, awesome song!!!!

  • Not bad, but not verry good. It's no light my fire or break on, but it sounds good. Robbie's rockin' big time! And Ray's keyboard is, euh, Ray's keyboard ;-)

  • The doors are one of the top 5 most influential bands in rock and roll, and Jim Morrison is a rock GOD! But truth is.... they also knew what worked and what didn't. I know I'm gonna get some hate here, but there is a reason it didn't make it on the album. Because The Doors didn't want it on there.

  • @mikebynum You're absolutely right.

  • @mikebynum exactly, any doors fan would get that

  • kicks ass

  • For a second i felt like i was in the early 70's, i could have that feeling of freshness of a "new" The Doors song, like it was recorded yesterday. That's just priceless!

  • @ziribai you got that right i got goosebumps hearing this jam now i know what people felt when the heard a new song from the doors on the radio

  • Jim still alive...

  • love it

  • L.a. woman was almost like Jim knew his death was coming. In this song "The tvs on and im goin to drown, In the hyacinth house, I see the bathroom is clear, i think somebodys near, i know someones following me. I always found that suspicious and now lyrics hat involve being drowned as he would die in a bathtub. Something fishy is up with l.a. woman, its like he knew something we didnt. maybe maybe not, but its a thought

  • This is awful. Small wonder they buried it. Some dogpiles should stay in the dirt.

  • this is rock n roll......raw and untouched!!!!......Jim has a son Cliff Morrison!!.....look it up!

  • HE LIVES!

  • JIM IS THE THE LIZARD KING! HE CAN DO ANYTHING!!!

  • Maybe there are more jewels hidden over there, look 4 them Rhino!!!

  • Jim!!!! Where have you been all these years?

  • I was blown away upon hearing about this new track. No, it may not be their best track, but it's THE DOORS! Nothing can go wrong with The Doors.

  • dont care man ... this song still got me excited ! i mean its JIM .. its the doors after decades.. its a privilege to hear a song which was otherwise lost..

  • It's not that good. Not to the Doors standard. I can see why this B-side never made it on the LA Woman album. Let's not treat this like a new hit single. It's an unreleased B-side. Nothing more.

  • New song The Doors in my channel

  • Wooooop! that's a recent song..;) swinging!

  • yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwww!!!!!

  • Does anyone know where I can find the lyrics? I've searched google and found nothing :(

  • @peetman23 since this was just posted yesterday and we didn't know the song existed until a few weeks ago, are you really surprised? the official release is in a week or two, the lyrics will be published soon

  • Yes sir!! Masters of rock and blues.

  • Sounds like Rockabilly to me. Cool find though...

  • @SugarSweettart this is Jimmy's voice,sorry.the doors rock,the track is awesome

  • Nova brought me here

  • @SugarSweettart Dont you mean,it is the doors,sorry guys.

  • This is Jim's voice.

  • NEW DOORS MUSIC?!?!?!

    Homina homina homina homina.....

  • I Think it's like "Build me a woman"

  • Waiting for something new for a while. Too cool guys!!

  • Oh how I love happy LSD...such a soft, sweet, innocent cherub, naked in the wilderness, frolicking through the fields, with grace in thy stride...How I long to negotiate a pleasant dream and a warm fuzzy place to hide. Climb vallys into the shade into an ancient spot where love was made. When the clap causes decay and flaming streams seem to stay, we'll dread the milky cumming of the day. At the end, beautiful friend, all that is left to say is I feel pretty, I feel witty, I feel gay

  • Sounds a bit like Jimmy Rodgers' "Sloppy Drunk". Also if you've heard Other Voices or Full Circle that sound seems to be forming here.

  • Oh wow, this is amazing! I love Jim's voice on this one, it sounds so lovely. Robbie, John, and Ray must have saved this for everyone to hear when it would be appreciated or needed. It is definitely needed now.

  • This is soo nice

  • AMAZING, love the doors!

  • love your lead robbie, you always were one of the most underated guitarists ever

  • Haha, this sounds far too good to be real, I mean, Jim's voice sounds like a demo but all the instruments are flawless, so yeah, the music are played by recent musicians for sure. But that's OK with me though :D

  • @Omertahun if you listen to the doors, all song sounds like they're played by recent musicians... - this is typical with the very few bands which have a very unique style, songs don't sound old, like beatles, acdc, ramones, queen...

  • W00T!

  • YYEEAAAHHHH!!!!! FINALLY.

  • Wow!

  • How did the rest of the guys forget about it? Ray, Robbie, John - where're your brains at?!

  • @knoblauchtv maybe it was decided to be cut from the album and just discarded from there

  • @knoblauchtv in acid

  • @knoblauchtv I think nobody forgot it, I'm pretty sure they were keeping this unreleased on porpouse... Ray, Robbie and John are GREAT business man, of course they knew the bomb this would be (I wouldn't be surprised if they got more inedit songs of Jim).

  • @Murdielago very possible. Same thing happens with Andy Warhol - supposedly, there are tons of boxes with unreleased material and prints ... could be the same with Doors tapes.

  • Amazing...simply as that :)

  • ..cool!

  • Thanks for posting this! It's good to hear Jim's voice again in something "new".

  • great song... love for the doors <3

  • I used to make songs like this... then I took an arrow to the knee

  • @VitaCreations die you whore

  • @VitaCreations fuck you

  • This is great. 4 guys, 1 goal and many chemical enhancers. Music has degenerated so much, hopefully it's cyclical like fashion and that great music will be made again. Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga is what humanity is into.

  • @SenhorL ... Check out Mayer Hawthorne, Marc Broussard and Kevn Kinney; they are keeping the music alive!! Great stuff. Sing it Jim!!
