@d3r0n he is right about the stronger bite with the tigers how ever crocs have the strongest iv heard of so them being more dangerous then a shark i think is the way to go there and in saying tigers have a stronger bite don't mean it would win a fight it all depends on everything thats there the surrounding's the size of both cats and even then a lion could beat one tiger but not another i don't like it when ppl say one is better then the other lol :) i agree with you :p

@hahafuness Yea. It all depends on various circumstances like Environment, Energy at the time at fighting and motivation for fighting. Why are the cats fighting? To defend itself, protect a young,etc. When pple lion will beat tigers or tigers will beat lion they r being totally dogmatic. There r some much variables that one has to consider to dtermine who will mostly win that fight, including that individual fighter.

@d3r0n its all about the average on equal conditions as in both cats are similar age and are healthy. my opinion tigers are much stronger than the African lion. not only the biggest tiger species are much bigger than the lion. but tigers also live in a harsher environment. thus tigers are build bone/muscle structure similar to the jaguar which is the strongest big cat pound for pound. and tigers have stronger hind legs allow it to fight with both paws, jump higher and kick stronger on ground.

This is load of crap. Lions (Males) are much tougher than lionesses and they do protect the pride against other males. Even simple shows seem to be against males.
