Yeah I have a question for you spangleboy, I have girl pom just exactly like yours. Does yours shed like crazy because mine does!?

@jeeues yes, he sheds. the female pom (white one) seems to shed less and her fur is much softer. brushing them with a groomer's brush helps a lot tho.

My dog is an exact duplicate of your dog in the video. I got my dog from a shelter (your dog didn't run away, did he? You're not getting him back).

@jjay226 it's kinda both. the outer coat is coarser than the very soft undercoat. our white pomeranian (see other videos i have uploaded. she is called "snowball") has very soft outer coat and a very fine/soft undercoat.

@saramelano If a dog is over excited, you have to train it to be calm. One way is to only play with the dog, give it treats, etc when the dog is calm. When it is excited, make a "Tst!" noise, clap, or snap to get its attention. I'd teach sit, stay, and down first. They're easy commands for dogs, and if a dog is excited, you can snap, say a command ("Sit") and wait till the dog settles down and is calm. Then you start playing with him/praising him. He'll learn that being calm= fun time.

@freddyphredphred i have heard some people have done that but our two pomeranians bark briefly at strangers but quickly stop once the stranger enters the house and starts petting or holding the poms. our poms bark more when we are leaving but stop barking once we close the door to leave.
