Sorry to ask but can you get Pleinair even though you passed the first boss part in the game?

You can get Pleinair (and the Prinny Commentary, and all the other New Game+ bonuses) even if you passed the first boss - it's triggered by seeing any one ending. The Mid-Boss ending is just the quickest and easiest to get, that's all. You can also get endings in chapters 3, 4 and 5, among others.

Yeah, you can get Adell (and Rozalin) in New Game+, but they're a lot harder to get than Pleinair. You have to complete the Demon Hall Mirror (in the Cave of Ordeals) stage six times for Adell (seven for Rozalin).

Pleinair is REALLY strong and fast. Whether that's worth restarting the game is open to personal preference. However, New Game+ also gets you the hilarious Prinny Commentary, which was worth it IMO.

Pleinair has an astounding fan base. She tends to be mute, but makes appearances in several Nippon Ichi games.

She's considered to be a mascot, probably of sentimental value to Takehito Harada who did the character designs for the Disgaea series, as well as a few other Nippon Ichi games.

The "Pleinair Handbook" is a good look at the two other characters, the shark and bunny, that hover around her presence, while at the same time demonstrating the level of cult fanaticism towards her.

Pleinair was created by Takehito Harada, I don't know much about him, just that he is like the main character artist for NIS.

Pleinair is his signature character that he put in the game almost like a cameo, which explains her rather out of place apearance in Disgaea. She is the only castle NPC that is completely special.

Also notice that he started depicting her in art styles from different Nintendo DS games right around when the game was about to release on the DS.

actually if you do the calculations a Pleinair maxed out in spd and hit will beat a Divine Majin maxed in atk. The Majin would be lucky to even git 1 hit in. While Pleinair sits there pounding it XD

There's realy no such thing as "maxed out" on Disgaea, so if she faught a Divine Majin with all stats over 1500000 to 2000000... I think we know who would win.

all characters have voices when attacking and they have ALL been redone in Disgaea DS. Adell and Rozalin have retained most of their specials but have been graphically reduced.

sadly, there is very limited voice acting in Disgaea DS. The only cutscenes that are voice acted are the opening, first chapter opening, and the "Next Episode" sequences.

no, the trick is for the english version too. I don't know any japanese, but I have the PS2 version of Disgaea so it wasn't very hard to understand what was goin' on. I've taken 3 years of german though, lol.

Did you save the file when you got the Mid-boss ending? If you didn't save and start over from that saved file, then you didn't unlock Pleinair and the Prinny commentary.

The best way to describe Plenair is if you fused a Ninja/Kunoichi with a Majin. She is just plain amazing and pwnge.
