Not bad. But to really excel in portraits practice by drawing live people. Your skills will really improve. That's what I teach my students.

Oh, I sometimes, very rarely though, draw live, but my friends are way to fidgety and I draw Detective Goran(Vincent D'onofrio) when he's on TV, probably not the same thing but anywho I don't get how my skills will improve by doing that

Even if you have to draw people while they sleep...it's better than only drawing face from a 2D source. Even when I teach animation, the kids who practice life drawing are always better than those who copy from books. Life teaches how to give faces(and bodies) depth and dimension. Try it
