Day 1 testing gel overlays on natural nails

Is that regular polish that is used over the gel overlay? Or is it actual gel polish? They look beautiful

@screaminlisa Hi there, thank you! On my nails in this video - it is actually coloured gel overlay directly onto my nail. Threy applied a clear gel basecoat, two coats of colour and then Bio Sculpture top coat varnish to protect it and keep them glossy. You can buy this to take home with you for top-ups. x

@screaminlisa Thank you, sweetie! It is gel polish. You can paint over them with nail varnish so long as you remove it with non acetone varnish remover but what you see in the video is gel. xx

It depends on the salon you go to - some file off (I wouldn't advise this), others soak them off my wrapping each nail in cotton wool soaked in acetone nail varnish remover, then warppaed in foil to insulate the nail and encourage the remover to get to work more efficiently. After approx 15 minutes, the gel simply lifts away and you start again with a new colour. This is the kindest method I have discovered. Enjoy!

Gel has to be filed off, though having a long lasting color is nice. However gel you cant soak off:/ its stronger then acrylic though :)
