  • THE MOVIES I AGREE UPON (WITH YOU) - transformers 3. it was waaaaayyyyyyyy beyond crap. it was just pure horseshit. the only thing good bout that movie was its spectacular special effects and the action. everything else goin on in the movie was idiotic. even pirates of the crbn. the first was awsum. they just ruined the first film by makin it into a series.

THE MOVIES I DISAGREE - Paul. I loved this movie. gave a fresh feel to the worn n torn concept of aliens landin on earth. epic tribute to et

  • I don't even think the first transformers was that good.

  • I agree with this list except Transformers, after the 2nd one I knew the 3rd one would be a bust so no disappointment there...

  • i think they are fair comments....but i enjoyed cowboys and aliens...paul...and pirates....

  • I thought the hangover 2 was funnier than part 1.

  • Films that I agree with you:

Battle LA, Green Lantern, Cowboys and Aliens and disapointly The Hangover Part 2.

  • transformers 3 was such a disappointment that it made 1.2 billion at the box-office...

  • I respect ur opinion but I LOVED PAUL!!

  • Wish you hadnt found transformers 3 so disappointing. All it needed was a simple story to get the autobots and decepticons to fight. The film ended on a very high note. But I'll admit, the characters besides the main ones were annoying, but it didnt make it difficult to watch.

  • @MovieBlogTV I actually found that group of critics who were pleased interesting

  • i think transformers 3 should of been lower on the list cuz i don't think people were expecting great. It was either going to be bad or just good from what the expectations were after viewing the second film.

  • Pretty good list. Just think differently about transformers. 1st wasn't good, 2nd wasn't good, 3rd wasn't good. Can't be disappointed :P

  • I'll admit, I was a little disappointed by Cowboys and Aliens, but my friends, Family, and I still really liked it.

  • "CARS 2" does not deserve to be on the list. It was an enjoyable animated film that was meant to be simply fun whilst being well-animated.

I find it interesting that the majority of critics trashed it based on a "Pixar standard" whereas guys such as Kenneth Turan (LA Times), Peter Travers (Rolling Stone), & ROGER EBERT (Chicago Sun-Times) loved it for what it was :/

  • @Wired4Life2 But "what it was" was mediocre at best. It was a mediocre film, and Pixar doesn't do mediocre films (normally). The majority of people and critics walked out of that film let down, myself included.

  • Great list

  • I haven't seen a whole lot of movies this year, but I agree with your list.

  • X-Men: First Class, that was a disappointment given how great the cast and crew were

  • great list, I agree with all of that. Could yuu make a list of all the "2011 movies that are worth watching but nobody knows about"?

  • a skidmark on the underwear on cinema Hahaha, i dont think that quote got the credit it deserved

  • Transformers 2 is a punch in the balls, genius metaphor

  • When I first heard they were doing The Hangover Part 2 I thought it would be the same, like for example Die Hard 2 or Home Alone 2 but in a different location and I was right, definitely the most disappointing movie of the year, I also agree with your other choices also, especially Transformers 3, it was almost worse than than Transformers 2 and that was very, very bad.

  • Super 8 should of been on your list, that movie sucked. Paul is awesome and far from disappointing.

  • @ANDREWBALLINA FUCK YOU

  • @jediclam ....Hahahaha, calm down

  • Cowboy and Aliens had bit of Indiana Jones vibe in the movie because Harrison Ford and Bond Actor was in it.

  • If you thought that Cowboys & Aliens was disappointing then why do you have a poster of it?

  • @PauliReenactment Excellent question. The answer is that I got it autographed by Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig. No matter how good or bad the movie is, that's something worth framing! :)

  • @MovieBlogTV

You got your poster autographed by Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig? That is awesome :D

Now I get it. I mean if a had a poster of let's just say of Highlander II with autographs by Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery, I would probably keep it even though Highlander II is a terrible movie.

  • @MovieBlogTV you met James Bond and Han Solo !!!! I am full of raging envy right now

  • I never expected Battle: LA to be good. It was awful though. And Cowboys & Aliens was pretty much exactly what I expected it to be.

  • I loved sherlock holmes 2....

  • Great list! The most disappointing movie of the year for me is a tie between Sherlock Holmes 2 and Bad Teacher.

  • Eh - I didn't mind Hangover 2 that much. Sure it was a lot of the same jokes as the original, but that's what I expected from the trailers and it managed to make me laugh and keep me entertained still.

Easily the most disappointing movie of the year for me was J. Edgar. DiCaprio's performance was solid, but beyond that, the way they told the story and what they chose to focus on just made it way too boring to be construed as anything resembling entertainment.

  • Bad hair day?
