To bad only about 70 people were at THE TROC tonight for EVERGREY. They were real good though.  Hope this show is cool

First of all, there's no reason to take it personally... someone merely disliked the video and indicated so. It's not an insult.

@go30tigers7 As much as I like BMD I'm actually more into Discouraged Ones, Tonight's Decision Last Fair Deal Gone Down and the Teargas ep b-sides. They mark a clear path of development. This album just dumbs it down and ups the production, commercialising and playing down the blakheim riffs in favour of chuggy rhythmic groove, which is common in all commercialised (read:shit) metal. They destroyed their atmosphere and uniqueness; sold their souls and traded them in for hollow gold.. ;-))

To be fair Discouraged Ones is probably my favorite album, tied with Brave Murder Day. You are right though that the atmosphere their music would evoke is kinda gone; their previous albums would give that hollow, depressing vibe whereas you'll put on Viva Emptiness - Night is the New Day and you'll just hear a collection of decent rock songs. It is disappointing but nonetheless, I still love the band to death.
