  • I have a flea infestation and my whole family is reacting to it badly, sadly, we don't have pet but the former occupant of the house had one and it is just after one year that i realized we all have bites over us, the problem is i only saw three physically, vacuum the house but the flea are still biting. i don't know where they stay during the day and wait till we come to bed in the night. is it to spray the whole bed or what because we dont even have carpet in all the bedrooms. please advice.

  • Boric Acid?????????

  • Very nice

  • Just use Frontline or PetArmor. You don't have to do everything this guy says. Use one of those products, and it will kill fleas for up to 3 months from only 1 application!! If you live in a colder climate, one application at this time (December) should last until spring.

  • @chadpopstar If your house is infested with thousands of fleas you can't easily get rid of them by just giving your pet frontline etc! The poison from frontline only lasts so long.

  • What about apple cider vinegar?

  • @JanaINJax Apple cider vinegar is a good cure for UTI (urinary tract infection.) Add 1 or 2 tablespoons to your dogs water daily. This changes the PH of the urine, stopping bacteria from growing. It worked for my dog. She used to get UTIs with a foul odor and blood... Now, she never gets it thanks to the apple cider vinegar.

But it didn't work to prevent fleas, as she was infested. Use Frontline or PetArmor to kill fleas.

  • @chadpopstar Thanks. I added a small cap full into their water but they wouldn't touch it. Can't say I blame them lol :o)

  • Expert village is just getting more and more bullshit everyday

  • buy some BLUE DAWN DISH SOAP. wash your dog with it, it will almost instantly kill the fleas and its 100% safe. then, mix the dish soap with water in a big bowl and place it anywhere in the house. just try not to let your dog(s) drink it.

  • @BootlegCrew302 I did that with my cat!!

    It works REALLY well!

  • @BootlegCrew302 what do you do with the bowl?

  • How can you cure a flea bites?

  • Why not garlic? He did not say why...

  • @Chadolution garlic is bad for dogs and cats

  • @Chadolution because it can be very bad for your pet

  • Another thing to add is a bowel of liquid soap, (ex: dawn) fleas are attracted to this for some odd reason.. Also, hold a light source over the bowel and leave the room for awhile..

  • What I mean by 'these poisonous products' are the topical chemicals (sprays, powders), flea collars, baths, bombs, 'medications' ... such a frontline.

  • Strange....how you want to scare people away from using brewers yeast,& sound so down about there not being many but what about these poisonous products? You are irresponsible to not caution people away from THOSE!!!! Apparently he hasn't done his homework or tried very hard to find alternative remedies. Anyways, try food-grade diatomaceous earth!!!!!!! See my next posts

  • @Natasha6961 I did buy it...and begun spraying it in my house.Little did I know what a mess it would make when vacuuming the carpet. Any advise?

  • @Natasha6961 Brewer's yeast is good for fleas?????

  • Food grade diatomaceous earth is a great flea preventative/treatment for people & critters. Please, no more poisons (including flea collars)!!!!You give them poisons then wonder why they get sick in the long-run?!Don't have a priest-like relationship with vets...question them, do your research on alternatives, stand on your own 2feet.We leave it to conventional vets at times because we are lazy. research.Raw, drug-free diets also go along way to strengthening cats & dogs, keeping them healthier

  • Pleasure to meet you, excellent video content by the way

  • Skin So Soft is an oil. Supposed to be a moisturizer. For people, not dogs. It's true fleas don't like it, but neither do pets. It's not good for them. If you apply it to carpets, the smell never goes away and if it gets tracked around on the carpets, they get sticky. It really does repel fleas, but personally, I don't think it's worth the hassle. There are flea sprays for carpets and upholstery. One I found was even safe for use on pet bedding. No smell, no mess, no fuss.

  • skin so soft almost killed my yorkie, he stopped eating and playing within hours of using it,he just went to sleep and was breathing weird. i washed it off of him, three times and he was back to normal in one hour. it was made for horses i believe?

  • I dont have my own pet. My sister in laws new dog visited me just ONCE which was over a month ago Since then ive seen 3 or 4 fleas in my house. There was one biting my arm today! Due to having 4 small kids I vacuum my house thoroughly TWICE A DAY! But the little varmits are STILL in my house so I wouldnt say this is an effective way to beat a real infestation! :S

  • Hey good advice.

Well i dont really know if i have flea bites, i have 3 cats which go in and out as they please, they have flea collors and we spray them with flea spray, but i have these bites on my ankles that are really itchy. And they itch the most at night time when i go bed. Ive washed my bedding but i still get bit :(

Do you know how i can stop itching, its really annoying.

    Thanks

  • i get on my ankles alot, ive not let my cat come in properly for 5 days. cos i wna tackle down on then. but sometime she sneaks in for like 10 seconds..but ima try vaccum like every day for a week, see how it goes etc

  • random you mightwant to try egg-white. The collagen in it acts as an IMMEDIATE and effective healer. It's also awsome for burns

  • @classicallady does it work??? i'm facing it now...a lot of flea bites on my body...the itchiness is killing me....

  • @yayahunnyable It does work with me all the time. Not the yolk though.......lemme know later.Good luck.

  • its posable that they are fleas but if u have them like betwee ur toes or fingers it might be scavies, little gugs that lay eggs in ur skin, but i may be wrong

  • @randomticktack could be bed bugs...

  • first
