Asians are naturally skinny. I was born skinny . When my family came to America i gained 30 pounds. FROM EATING too much, no kidding. In asia, people eat healthy and doesnt eat that much fastfood. since it costs a lot. so asian people prefer eating cheap stuff like vegetables. But i lost all the weight that i gained after realizing ive been getting fat. lol

rice helps people trust me! it fills you up super fast so you dont eat alot. also try eating with chopsticks. this makes you eat slower and in smaller amounts, making it easier to digest food. i eat everything with chopticks:)

LOL rice diet?? i hate to burst everyone- who thinks this is legit -'s bubble, but rice has a lot of carbs! so it's def. not some kind of diet lol. HOWEVER, yes asians are built smaller, and in general they eat just to satisfy their hunger, not to be stuffed and full. i should know i am one lol. i def. am not as skinny as these girls though, just a shorty... :P

asians are skinny because of what we eat . pretty much just rice, fish, and chicken. im filipino, chinese, malaysian, and a euro mutt. when im with my mom i can eat as much as i want and not gain a single pound because all we eat is rice chicken fish and noodles. but when im with my dad and his fatty swedish german irish english and welsh food i gain alot of weight lol. asians also have fast metabolisms i think lol

No, it would not help. White rice is in the same food group as white bread, pasta, pototates, sweets, etc. Frankly, if you want to lose weight, you need to do it the actual way- calorie reduction plus exercise increase. A diet is just temporary, after that, then what? I'm Asian, & ppl never stop asking if they will lose weight "eating Chinese food", ie, rice, fish, veggies, etc, as they think we're all so thin.

I don't think Asians naturally have a faster metabolism. They definitely tend to be thinner, and my hypothesis for that would be that they are:

A) Exposed to a much healthier, more balanced diet than the average westerner

B) Prone to having a smaller,more delicate bone frame which contributes to the look of delicateness.

C) Taught healthier eating and exercise habits
