No,Then 6 months later win against Liechtenstein, followed by another win against Liechtenstein. Match after after was a 2-2 draw against Scotland. Strangely enough the match after that one, was 2-0 loss against Lithuania.
@bobbymozza When it was a maximum period of only five years between Faroese victories - they defeated Malta in a friendly - in Toftir of course - in August of 2004! ;-)
It's a long time since I saw a game at this level played on a pitch like that - actually makes it interesting

I know they're on a budget, but when are they going to get a roof for the stadium? lol
It's like building a house, but saying "you know what, we're abit short of cash, so we'll just build the rest of the house and leave the roof".
Just kidding. The match resembled swamp football at times. Quite funny seeing that player get tackled by a puddle.
Shame the stadium was mostly empty though. We'll fight them on beaches, we'll fight them on the shores, but if it rains we'll just stay at home. lol

@bobbymozza If we only count competitive matches, that indeed was the last Faroese victory until Lithuania 8 years later.

@Farerets
shhhh i don't tell everyone ;)
The Friendly matches are just as important to the Faroe Islands though.
Long may there be friendlies against low ranked teams.
