Wow, I had brought Hitman contracts (assuming that was no.1 but later found out it's no. 3 in series). Anyways, can't believe the similarities in 1 and 3. 3 does show a background of 47's life, though there are differences.

One of the greatest games ever. The thing that makes this game stand out from any of the hitmen series was that you could see the bullet wounds on people when you shot them. I remember the first time I let a machine gun rip up that dudes side in the shower and seeing all the holes. Never understood why they took that out of the hitman games. Little details like that make games great.

@kirkmeister555 They not only did this one, but three others from Codename 47. They did it to intertwine 47's past and present state. In Contracts, the game begins with 47 being shot at a hotel. He drops in and out of consciousness, all the while the FBI begins surrounding the building. The game's missions cover flashbacks regarding previous assassinations 47 committed.

This was almost 10 years ago..I remember buying this game....I also bought a riva tnt2 card and was very happy cause my pc was state of the art ( with 64mb ram and windows ME ha!..ha)......Man I miss those days...gaming used to be fun , most of the games were very well designed. Now its just realistic graphics, very few developers focus on proper game design.
