i lived in bethnal green for a year and experienced the most racist attitudes i've ever heard of and it was the white people who were the victim. I had a number of good friends attacked by gangs of muslim kids purely because they were white.
the EDL may have a lot of real racists in it's midst but you ask any young person today who has lived close by or within a mainly muslim community and they'll explain how they agree with a lot of what the EDL says.

There are a lot of moderate Muslims (the vast majority) who would disagree with you, and I'd say they know a damn sight more about it than you.
