This movie led to the most amazing discovery ever. By the end of it, I realized my hubby is a superhero. In half a second he made it to the exit of a 600 seats room plus he managed to put his coat on on the way. Wow,wow, he's supersonic! I'm not that fast though. It took me a whole second to do the same :( .Well, maybe next time!

@Suziesexy training for the MOVIE was done through positive reinforcement like tricks, etc. i am saying nothing about the horrible treatment of elephants through the circus .. i don't even watch the circus or enjoy it all that much, i am specifically talking about this movie, i'm tired of it getting a bad reputation for something it did NOT participate in itself.

Well, clearly the movie did a good job at getting you to see what they wanted you to. It's just unfortunate that nobody's smart enough to understand that it's not real. the video shows the elephant being abused by the previous trainers, and it was horrible however it was in 2005, 5 years before this movie even started production

If people are going to use elephants in movies and they want them to do "tricks" it will allow these training practices to continue...

If the owner/trainers of the elephant has to resort to this cruel practice to train them they should be imprisoned.

@04Beau like i said before in my comments, that movie was from 2005, 5 years before this movie was made .. they took all the proper steps and took good care of the animal and trained it to do the tricks for their movie using positive reinforcement like treats, etc.

there is not much that can be done by her previous owners it happened 5 years ago, all they can do is treat her good now

@teresah1966 only one person in this film is abusive, and he ends up dying. the other actors are completly against it. i saw this film, LOVED it, and almost started crying that poor elephant was bullhooked. just because a movie has animal abuse in it, or shows how animals are treated poorly, doesn't mean every viewer supports it. what it does is makes us AWARE of what goes on with these poor animals, and it makes people want to help.
