the ariel atom with the honda motor in the uk costs $40,000 (used ones can be purchased off their website starting at $30,000) and an atom 2 , the us version, with the chevy motor, costs $80,000 (supercharged) i dont know about you, but i'd rather import one with the type r civic motor supercharged.

it's because of the influx of sucky video cameras like cell phones and 10$ aiptecs. we should probably be greatful that the image doesn't wave at the same time like so many fucking cameras do. wisdom to the designers who promote such crap and push them on the ignorant buyers. the difference between crap and good quality is maybe 5$, maybe even cheaper if done once and for all. each day progress is delayed it costs us 16 million man years. that's a fucking long time to waste

FWIW it was filmed using a Canon A510

which is first a still camera. and you may have noticed some shake : )

you can compensate by being very careful to hold the camera stiffly. more dedicated video cameras are better at helping that but it can be done with the A510. if you have the cars still you can try it again. make a few experiments and see how it turns out. the use of zoom exacerbates any problems of course and that's probably what happened. practice makes perfect
