Ava was probably the most beautiful actress ever but she, after the divorce from Sinatra, lived alone and in poverty. Once she said that her fault was a lack of ambition in her career. A wonderful woman indeed.

Thank you for all your comments! Though her biographer Lee Server says that she wasn't poor in the end of her life and that this rumour that Sinatra helped her with money is false.

@EmyMilesSonny Ava Gardner was certainly not poor after she left Sinatra. She was getting close to half a million for her pictures in the late 50's and early 60's.

According to what I've read, these songs were recorded by Sinatra while he was in the midst of breaking up with Ava Gardner. You can really tell he meant what he was singing at the time.....and apparently she was the love of his life. The songs fit the video for that reason!
