Sabe cara... parace que eu gosto mais do JK do que o flowmaster... Esse JK tem um som muito encorpado. Ele tem lã de vidro por dentro, é igual o americano "Cherry Bomb" ou "Glasspack"
I doubtthe 'Motorcrap' carbs were available in South America for the Fords there. keep in mind, mostare running 7 to one pistons due to the shit grade gas there or at the time the cars were new.
-Well 2 barrel Motorcrafts were pretty decent,i had even seen a Motorcraft 4 barrel that was made out of 2 2-barrels,i don't know the model though, square bore.
-Spread bore would be asking too much...
-Anyways as an FYI,the ratio was 6,5:1 for a 67 octane gas,was as much a gas guzzler as a 1974 Lincoln, specially since they raped the jets to make it at least drag, good for 140 hp,it was mostly all about noise and bullshit
-It's not a Quadrajet, they call any four barrel carb quadri-jet in Brazil, anyhow,i've seen some Rochester Quadrajets in Fords and it works nice, specially 460s...
That bodystyle is based off the USA made 65-66 Galaxie's.Your Galaxie sounds nice with those glass pack mufflers.I love the Brwzilan made Ford Mavricks as you guys never had to have the larger ugly bumpers that the USA made Mavericks had to have starting in 1974.Plus the Maverick GT's made in Brazil were awesome looking cars.
South American used Ford old presses for yeaaars.Look at the Brazilian Falcon.its basically a gussied up 60-63 I shit ya not. and th Galaxie in this vid is based off the 65-66 American Galaxies only the front and rear sheetmetal is Brazilian designed.Brazil even had the Maverick and never had to change the bumpers to the huge ugly ones that the USA ones had starting in 74.
Has anyone tried to get one of these to a car show in the US? Like you said,"It looks like a US Galaxie/LTD from the late 60's until you see the front and back. I did not know Ford had this body style up until the early "80s. It doesn't have hideaway wipers, and if you find an interior video, The ignition switch is on the front panel and not the steering column. A 60's car built in the 70"s and early 80's. Neat!!
