@MXloverSam40 usually 6500+ and after market parts can get to be 3000 if your really into it or it needs work but for sverything to reach 100k you would have to be buying spare motors so u can blow them up after every race, 10k is a bit more relistic in US currency, 100k is more like new bikes for life

The best stuff they give to the public is around $5000 for the forks alone. The stuff they use is way better and not available to the public. All factory mechanics would say you cannot put a price on one of the bikes but if you did it would easily be $100k+

These bikes are easily $70,000 and up. Titanium parts, like footpegs, are super light and very expensive, upwards of $4000. Same thing for hubs and spokes. Tires are special. Forks alone are 10 grand easy. Clutch and brake levers. Pipes. Specially made seats. Add everything up, And you're well above 70.

Sequel to my previous comment, I understand why people think you can't spend that much on a bike. Some of the factory's parts are made out of different materials (the brake caliper I mentioned) that are available exclusively to factory teams. I know some people still won't believe me. These bike dont even cost 60,000. I have a friend who bought Jessica Pattersons 2009 CRF250R and the only thing its missing from being a factory bike is the motor being build and he bought it for 6500 and right off ebay. You can build a factory race motor from pro circuit for probably 8000 or less. so about 20G is what your looking at for a true bike.

@hadriel8 well most of the pros dont sell there bikes because they dont want to, its because they cant. the only thing on that bike avalible to the public is the plastics, everything is taylior made for that specific rider. if they wanted to get rid of that bike they better get around 100 big ones because im sure pro circut wouldnt be to happy about it. big brands use there riders to test proto types. they are only "allowed" to resell the bike when all the "prototypes" are avalible to the pub.

@SkinnySkinch O O O O, lets see here, i have 3 450 kawi's with pc triple, hoses, hinson basket and cover, linkage, porting, stroker kit, mostly everything, pluss four 2010 250f and a 2007 450, 2008 450 and 5 -150s, so yeah say that, How many pipes and wheels are in your garage, lets see, i probably have every pipe for the 450 kawi, and 8 sets of wheels all with hubs that are either blue are red. Thats not counting quads or anything else so sure, what did you say again.

@jlcyamaha chad reeds 2011 bike is up on ebay for 25,000 at the moment im not saying that there not worth shit loads but after the season is over the bike gets released and parts get sent back to wherever they came from ie. pro circuit, gytr and so on.

@mrHansen122 i saw that. not to mention that bike is probaly worth 6,000 given he parts on it. but its been proffetinaly raced so maybe even 5. people just want it cuz its reeds bike and i bet maybe 1% or so of the bidders know that even if that actualy is his bike, all of his factory parts were taken off. every part on that bike can be found on the web or in a store
