I didn't read or watch the secret--I admit being put off by the hype,the sense that it was just another corrupted version of the truth to hide the button and make the speakers rich by convincing everyone else they too could be rich if they had the secret (but of course they never will because they're missing a key piece). I think the true 'secret' is: rich or poor, it's okay. You're eternal and your choice does not diminish you. Love, live and be light. Thanks, Abraham.
Amazing. I had seen a link yesterday for that book and movie. I looked on the website and was uncomfortable with the marketing as well. The law of attraction could have been summed up in the words used. However, they credited the book for people making progress. This is a hindrance in my understanding. Today, I first heard about Abraham, and I am glad I found the original teachers of this subject.
I read the book 'The Secret' a while ago and felt it was not right. It seemed to leave out the very secret it was supposed to be talking about. Watching the DVD is like reading a manual of a new electronic toy, then not having batteries to make the toy work! Abraham is amazing, I am re-learning so much. Thank you Abraham, Jerry and Esther.
Does Abraham speak to Esther and she merely translates whatever Abraham says or does Abraham somehow enter her body and mind and then Esther becomes possessed? And when Abraham uses "We" does he mean we as in Abraham and Esther?

Esther is not in a trance in the conventional sense, which is why she no longer prefers the word "channeling" to describe her process. When Abraham uses "we" they are speaking of themselves as Source, which they explain is not singular but also has no particular number as we think of it.

And, since Abraham holds the position that this greater part of ourselves is God, Abraham does personify an expression of All-Loving Non-Physical Source Energy. However, Abraham also says that each person's expression of their Source is unique, and so they don't use the word God to describe themselves because it connotates things they don't mean.

As part of her process to do this, she has identified that Soul - which is part of the Universal Source Energy - as "Abraham". Although some have called this "channeling", Esther and Jerry do not prefer this definition because Abraham is not "a smart dead person", Abraham is not whispering words in Esther's ear, and Esther is not in a trance as most people understand it.
Because of all the talk about Esther and Abraham not being on The Secret I went and bought one of their books as I'd never heard of them before. I'm really greatful that they were brought to my attention because their knowledge is truly wonderful and it belongs to us all.
I saw the original version of The Secret online with Esther in it and I had no idea that Abraham was speaking through her. There was just an energy about her that let me know she knew exactly what she was talking about, way more so than everyone else in the video! She seemed way more knowledgeable than the others in the movie. The rest was history then I found Esther-ham and learned what the law of attraction really was about lol.

Love Esther Hicks. She has such a calming voice. I could listen to her voice, telling the truths of Abraham, all day long. And she/Abraham is so eloquent.
While going through a bit of a low period, I decided to watch a bunch of inspirational movies to keep my spirits high. One of those movies was "The Secret." After making a comment on a clip from that movie on Youtube, somebody suggested that if I was really interested in the Law of Attraction, that Abraham was where the "leading edge" was. I thought it was a silly comment, but looked into Abraham at that point. I'm very thankful for what I looked into!!!
@vnano "The Secret" was originally conceived as a film about Jerry and Esther, but in the course of production the producer added a lot of other voices to the film, many of whom echoed a distorted and/or incomplete version of what Abraham had been teaching for 25 years. Faced with their contract being violated, and their life work in danger of being diluted, Jerry and Esther elected to walk away and the producer elected to misrepresent their central rolls in the genesis of the film and book.
I only saw the version with Jerry, Esther and Abraham but I didn't know anything them. I loved the movie though, so I typed in Law of Attraction and that is how I found you. The Secret brought me to this belief system, but whether or not you had been in the movie, I would have been brought here anyway.
I found Abraham after watching the Secret so I am glad I watched it but many of my friends watched Secret than they found it very stupid especially the introduction part, and Secret left many questions in my mind but Abraham just offers solutions :))) I love You Abraham, You ROCK!!!!
As soon as I first saw the title "The Secret", and it came to me very early, well before production, I felt there was something wrong with the idea of presenting universal truth as a Secret. However, I guess the aggressive marketing techniques dominant in society today maybe required this approach to "cut through" and a lot of people have been led here by it. I LOVE The gravity analogy at 8:39 in this video. When the message is coming through a pure channel you know it! All is well.
I listened to the Secret (cd) several times before...beginning a few years ago. I loved it because I was on the frequency of receiving it at that time. I never learned about Abraham, Jerry, or Esther until a few hours ago. This is far more profound for me at this point in my life. While the Secret helped to positively change my "thinking," these videos inspire my "being." I am on the frequency to receive this now. Thank you for generously sharing these videos.
My life changed tremendously after being the student of Abraham. I read lots of books from different teachers, i would say they are good but somehow deep in my heart i know theres something more for me And i stop searching for the teachers the moment i found Abraham's teaching. Abe's teaching are beyond words can describe which always comes from the pure, fast, high energy, non bias dimension..........
I brought the secret, after the secret I was thirsty again, something was a mist. Than I found Abraham and the Hicks. I have to agree with some of the other posters, when I watched The Secret, I thought this is a good idea but it felt kind of superficial to me. I quickly found out why when I was lucky enough to be pointed in the direction of Abraham-Hicks. Thanks to Abraham I live every day benefiting fully from the Law of Attraction, but to be honest without knowledge of my inner guidance system or the non-physical world it would not make sense...not quite sure those who do not know about this manage it...
I first came to know about Abraham, by seeing the First copy of Secret, something about the name Abraham attracted me. But I didnt really understand the secret of the movie eventhough my life had improved a bit. But only after listening to Abraham I grasped the idea what the secret is. I am so glad that I came to know about Abraham's teachings. Whenever I listen to Abraham I can feel this tingling sensation all over my body, which I love, so I listen the tapes again and again. lol
I saw the old secret movie on PC. and the new one as a DVD I bought. it said on the DVD: extended version. but there was nothing extended about it, all they did was cut out Esther, and I was like WTF they ruined it @.@
also I have read and heard from all the secret teachers, none are as profound as Esther. I would also recommend listening to Dr. Wayne Dyer. I can honestly say that Dr Wayne and Esther have changed my life and the way I look at the world.. simply amazing!! . Love you all =)

A part of me felt incomplete when I saw the non-abe version of the Secret.... however my friends didn't feel the same. So i thought i must be broken..
I gave my copy of the secret to a friend, whom i later fell out with, but never had the chance to get it back. So searched for the secret on Youtube. I found the older version (which i thought was the new version at the time) and was overwhelmed because this time, Ester-ham put the secret in another perspective...I was blissfully complete...
I didn't like how she was taken out of the other version was edited. It felt like there was something missing when you cut out a major person in the video. I have both versions, and I didn't like it.
Ester hicks is the best , I only watch the version of the secret that she's in it . I think that movie without her , is going to be like nothing , because she was the super star . but as she said , it's not important .
Esther, You are my age and I remember very well that as a little girl I used to have pleasure in connecting with the source then I lost track and as an adult I spent most of my life reading self help books trying to find answers.Then I saw one of your clips only a feww weeks ago ..AND I found my track again.I feel that you are me speaking to my play mates as a child.

It was about time for The Secret to come out. To me, it was a confirmation of how I lived my life as a rebel and though I could not really put it into words. Whenever, it was down stream, I sure got there! And the Law of attraction has worked for me even before I came to planet earth :-)

Well The Secret without Abraham was mediocre. Listening to Abraham is pure joy. There is no comparison. The Secret left out some vital information such as your emotional guidance which is at the core of Abrahams teachings.
Abraham's teachings would have been the perfect fit, however the secret is still a great concept that has mainstream society asking those important deeper questions... its only the beginning...
I have been searching for more about LOA and I remembered Esther talking about how you feeling can guide you to know if it is a right or wrong thought you think and I liked it very match. Don´t know if it was V1 or V2.
Now I have find her in internet.
I wish that I could go to some of the gathering and listen to Abraham.

When I watched the Secret I felt instinctively that the movie was for spiritual "beginners" so to speak, marketed for people whom would otherwise be put off by usual "new age talk". I did feel that the greater truth was missing but was still very inspired by it. I feel it has waken many people up & It has also led me to Abrahams clearly greater body of knowledge and wisdom & for these things I am grateful. Its just sad that there arent many exceptions to these types scandals in the industry.

I did too, I saw the version of "the secret" with ester and abraham... I was fortunate because when I "discovered" abrahams teachings on youttube and bought the vortex it was because i recognizes esters voice and i couldnt place where I heard it and then I relalized ahhh "the secret" I remember her voice being the only one I remembered from "the secret"... ironic i came to this video, i did not know they were edited out. I felt their section was the most important part of the movie!
To tell you the trough i discovered Abraham from "The Secret" . That movie was the starting point of my "waking" and of the understanding of the law of attraction. Now i have all the Abraham material but still i owe a lot to that movie.

The same happened to me. I am from Brazil and I had never heard of Abraham teachings before The Secret. The movie was a huge success and after I saw it I wanted to learn everything I could find about the law of atraction. It led me to Abraham. And I am grateful for that.

My husband gifted me The Secret book, but i never felt like reading it. i tried many a times, but felt like the original message is missing when I tried to read the book. Esther was taken out of The Secret V2 at her own request. She had an issue with the way it was all presented and thought she may have been mislead by the producers of The Secret so they had to do the second version of it without Abraham in it.
The Secret clearly has a lot missing from it. However it's a brilliant stepping stone between the drama infused pop cinema World and the truth of the nature of reality that I now exist in, and I thank it for that.
I think the whole 'Secret' story idea is a necessary thing so people don't get bored and turn off to the 'New Age' fancy idea too easily.
I felt that the movie The Secret was missing something, and heaven knows enough people have tried to capitalize on that concept. This is not the first time I've seen this video, but it is the first time I got that the missing ingredient from The Secret is divine guidance found within. Thank you Abraham for keeping the energy flowing and giving us places to align with it.

Thank you for sharing Abraham with all of us. I read and viewed the secret one year ago, I was left with questions and felt there was more missing from it. One day I said I am ready to learn what I need to learn. My husband and I went to the book store looking for the book the secret to mail to my nephew who needed some uplifting. I had the book in my hand but instead picked up a book from Abraham-hicks The law of attraction. Wow it answered all the questions that I had before.
I owe the producer of the Secret my gratitude. I was given a copy of The Secret two years ago, with no Abraham....but, regardless, it led me to the Abraham-Hicks books! I always had the feeling the Secret has so much missing - like it's a "clif-notes" but missing much of the things that make everything come together and "click" in a holistic way that Abraham describes.

It's deeply ironic that The Secret which is about suppressed knowledge ended up suppressing knowledge about Abraham despite benefitting from their teachings. It's not a nice thing to do and Esther and Jerry's reaction to it shows class and the difference between the futility of revenge and the peace that comes with acceptance and letting go of negative thoughts. They lead by example.

I actually found Abraham for the first time on the Secret DVD and while it was the greatest thing I had seen before, I now find Abrahams work far more uplifting and simple! And I KNOW that it was because I WAS READY that I found that DVD even though it was only the tip of the iceberg!

Wow, I love the way Abraham sums that up. Esther and Jerry really have benefited from the small amount of "publicity" they got from The Secret - I for one sought after their books because I was so impressed with the integrity and the well-spoken manner of Esther...well who I thought was Esther. :) I now know it was Abraham.
And yes, the Secret is like the mini-version of it all, the stuff you learn before you're ready to learn more, at which time the Universe will move you on.
Thanks so much for this. I watched 'The Secret' a couple of weeks ago, after having read several of Esther and Jerry's books, which I just cannot get enough of!! I wondered why they were not in it, when I thought they were. I knew there must be an explanation out there and today I found my way to it :) Wonderful to hear what occurred and understand the interconnections there.
i have listsoned to one of the teachings and i felt relief from a unseen blame tactic that was going on in my life it was absured to be blamed for beliefs which where not mine and casting stones these are very healing teachings this reminds me to let go , i'll tell my sister
I've always had an intuitive sense of wanting to shun The Secret, and now I know why. The underlying vibration of the woman who originally promoted it is an ego vibration. Now that I'm tuned into Abraham, I can listen to his words and my intuition says they ring true. This is the difference between listening to the Source, and someone who is merely hawking the Source. Good decision to be edited out; the benefit to all is greater this way. I shunned the Secret; I have bought Abraham's books.

With or without Abraham, The Secret has woken people up. It's been good for the people of the world! And in the end, most of us get curious and want to learn more. The secret is a very basic version that people can stomach without feeling too weird about things. Then we branch out and find bigger and better things like Abraham.

This personality, when it first manifested, identified itself saying "I am Abraham". Jerry is sitting off to the side in every workshop, operating the audio recording equipment and taking notes. In all fairness, I believe there should have been a sticker on The Secret without Esther Hicks stating that she was not on this version. This would have prevented the disappointment I'm reading here by so many. However, ALL things do happen for a reason, there simply are no coincidences. The end result is quite spectacular!

I'm Spanish my english it's so bad, please forgive my spelling. So, now I decided to buy The Secret and my surprise is that already she is not in the documentary. I bought this documentary because Esther was one of few persons of the documentary that really I liked.I am disappointed. If I known that she is not in the documentary I not bought the DVD and I prefer continue seeing the documentary in English not in Spanish version because I like to see her to speak, her give myself good vibrations.

Abraham states that "the real secret is that we are source energy in physical bodies." After looking deeply into several religious traditions I experienced that statment to be very true!
I hope to be able to attend a workshop soon. BTW, I have the origional version of "The Secret" and have to say that Esthers part was such a huge part of what initially attracted me to learning about the LOA.

@shylathegreat Esther says that she receives "blocks of thought" from Abraham which she then puts words to using her own vocabulary. Esther is not in a trance in the conventional sense, which is why she no longer prefers the word "channeling" to describe her process. When Abraham uses "we" they are speaking of themselves as Source, which they explain is not singular but also has no particular number as we think of it.

And, since Abraham holds the position that this greater part of ourselves is God, Abraham does personify an expression of All-Loving Non-Physical Source Energy. However, Abraham also says that each person's expression of their Source is unique, and so they don't use the word God to describe themselves because it connotates things they don't mean.

As part of her process to do this, she has identified that Soul - which is part of the Universal Source Energy - as "Abraham". Although some have called this "channeling", Esther and Jerry do not prefer this definition because Abraham is not "a smart dead person", Abraham is not whispering words in Esther's ear, and Esther is not in a trance as most people understand it.

I saw the original version of The Secret online with Esther in it and I had no idea that Abraham was speaking through her. There was just an energy about her that let me know she knew exactly what she was talking about, way more so than everyone else in the video! She seemed way more knowledgeable than the others in the movie. The rest was history then I found Esther-ham and learned what the law of attraction really was about lol.

While going through a bit of a low period, I decided to watch a bunch of inspirational movies to keep my spirits high. One of those movies was "The Secret." After making a comment on a clip from that movie on Youtube, somebody suggested that if I was really interested in the Law of Attraction, that Abraham was where the "leading edge" was. I thought it was a silly comment, but looked into Abraham at that point. I'm very thankful for what I looked into!!!

@vnano "The Secret" was originally conceived as a film about Jerry and Esther, but in the course of production the producer added a lot of other voices to the film, many of whom echoed a distorted and/or incomplete version of what Abraham had been teaching for 25 years. Faced with their contract being violated, and their life work in danger of being diluted, Jerry and Esther elected to walk away and the producer elected to misrepresent their central rolls in the genesis of the film and book.

As soon as I first saw the title "The Secret", and it came to me very early, well before production, I felt there was something wrong with the idea of presenting universal truth as a Secret. However, I guess the aggressive marketing techniques dominant in society today maybe required this approach to "cut through" and a lot of people have been led here by it. I LOVE The gravity analogy at 8:39 in this video. When the message is coming through a pure channel you know it! All is well.

I listened to the Secret (cd) several times before...beginning a few years ago. I loved it because I was on the frequency of receiving it at that time. I never learned about Abraham, Jerry, or Esther until a few hours ago. This is far more profound for me at this point in my life. While the Secret helped to positively change my "thinking," these videos inspire my "being." I am on the frequency to receive this now. Thank you for generously sharing these videos.

I have to agree with some of the other posters, when I watched The Secret, I thought this is a good idea but it felt kind of superficial to me. I quickly found out why when I was lucky enough to be pointed in the direction of Abraham-Hicks. Thanks to Abraham I live every day benefiting fully from the Law of Attraction, but to be honest without knowledge of my inner guidance system or the non-physical world it would not make sense...not quite sure those who do not know about this manage it...

But I didnt really understand the secret of the movie eventhough my life had improved a bit. But only after listening to Abraham I grasped the idea what the secret is. I saw the old secret movie on PC. and the new one as a DVD I bought. it said on the DVD: extended version. but there was nothing extended about it, all they did was cut out Esther, and I was like WTF they ruined it @.@
also I have read and heard from all the secret teachers, none are as profound as Esther. I would also recommend listening to Dr. Wayne Dyer. I can honestly say that Dr Wayne and Esther have changed my life and the way I look at the world.. simply amazing!! . Love you all =)

A part of me felt incomplete when I saw the non-abe version of the Secret.... however my friends didn't feel the same. So i thought i must be broken..
I gave my copy of the secret to a friend, whom i later fell out with, but never had the chance to get it back. So searched for the secret on Youtube. I found the older version (which i thought was the new version at the time) and was overwhelmed because this time, Ester-ham put the secret in another perspective...I was blissfully complete...

It was about time for The Secret to come out. To me, it was a confirmation of how I lived my life as a rebel and though I could not really put it into words. Whenever, it was down stream, I sure got there! And the Law of attraction has worked for me even before I came to planet earth :-)

Well The Secret without Abraham was mediocre. Listening to Abraham is pure joy. There is no comparison. The Secret left out some vital information such as your emotional guidance which is at the core of Abrahams teachings.

I have been searching for more about LOA and I remembered Esther talking about how you feeling can guide you to know if it is a right or wrong thought you think and I liked it very match. Don´t know if it was V1 or V2.

When I watched the Secret I felt instinctively that the movie was for spiritual "beginners" so to speak, marketed for people whom would otherwise be put off by usual "new age talk". I did feel that the greater truth was missing but was still very inspired by it. I feel it has waken many people up & It has also led me to Abrahams clearly greater body of knowledge and wisdom & for these things I am grateful. Its just sad that there arent many exceptions to these types scandals in the industry.

I was fortunate because when I "discovered" abrahams teachings on youttube and bought the vortex it was because i recognizes esters voice and i couldnt place where I heard it and then I relalized ahhh "the secret" I remember her voice being the only one I remembered from "the secret"... ironic i came to this video, i did not know they were edited out. Esther was taken out of The Secret V2 at her own request. She had an issue with the way it was all presented and thought she may have been mislead by the producers of The Secret so they had to do the second version of it without Abraham in it.

The Secret clearly has a lot missing from it. However it's a brilliant stepping stone between the drama infused pop cinema World and the truth of the nature of reality that I now exist in, and I thank it for that.
I think the whole 'Secret' story idea is a necessary thing so people don't get bored and turn off to the 'New Age' fancy idea too easily.

Thank you for sharing Abraham with all of us. I read and viewed the secret one year ago, I was left with questions and felt there was more missing from it. One day I said I am ready to learn what I need to learn. My husband and I went to the book store looking for the book the secret to mail to my nephew who needed some uplifting. It's deeply ironic that The Secret which is about suppressed knowledge ended up suppressing knowledge about Abraham despite benefitting from their teachings. It's not a nice thing to do and Esther and Jerry's reaction to it shows class and the difference between the futility of revenge and the peace that comes with acceptance and letting go of negative thoughts. They lead by example.

I was the Lucky one who got the movie 6 month before it was going publicly so fortunately I have a version where Esther Hick is in it. Latter I got the second version of the "Secret" movie without Esther in it and I got the feeling that all this people who talk about the Law Of Attraction are speaking trough their egos _ all about making profits from that movie a big money.

turxxx: Esther and Jerry Hicks are best-selling authors who have been conducting "Law of Attraction" workshops for over 20 years. Their work is based on the teachings of "Non-Physical Source Energy" who they call "Abraham" and who communicates blocks of thought to Esther which she then translates. Although some have called this process "channeling", they don't prefer this word. Their company is called Abraham-Hicks Publications and they have no organization to join - just a mailing list.

Wow, I love the way Abraham sums that up. Esther and Jerry really have benefited from the small amount of "publicity" they got from The Secret - I for one sought after their books because I was so impressed with the integrity and the well-spoken manner of Esther...well who I thought was Esther. :) I now know it was Abraham.
And yes, the Secret is like the mini-version of it all, the stuff you learn before you're ready to learn more, at which time the Universe will move you on.

Thanks so much for this. I watched 'The Secret' a couple of weeks ago, after having read several of Esther and Jerry's books, which I just cannot get enough of!! I wondered why they were not in it, when I thought they were. I knew there must be an explanation out there and today I found my way to it :) Wonderful to hear what occurred and understand the interconnections there.

i have listsoned to one of the teachings and i felt relief from a unseen blame tactic that was going on in my life it was absured to be blamed for beliefs which where not mine and casting stones these are very healing teachings this reminds me to let go , i'll tell my sister

I've always had an intuitive sense of wanting to shun The Secret, and now I know why. The underlying vibration of the woman who originally promoted it is an ego vibration. Now that I'm tuned into Abraham, I can listen to his words and my intuition says they ring true. This is the difference between listening to the Source, and someone who is merely hawking the Source. Good decision to be edited out; the benefit to all is greater this way. I shunned the Secret; I have bought Abraham's books.

Wow, how ironic, don't ya think? that, the Law of Attraction, what you focus on, comes - worked in this way w/Abraham being a Secret now too! Another example of how powerful our thoughts are. Great info from Abe and being a big "Seth" fan myself from way back, I find the "Abe" info just as good and it's revived my knowledge and has helped me understand more thoroughly all of this. The "Abe on God" is a must see! Thank you for helping everyone with that message Esther and Jerry!! You guys Rock!!

Ahhh now I get it.
With or without Abraham, The Secret has woken people up. It's been good for the people of the world! And in the end, most of us get curious and want to learn more. The secret is a very basic version that people can stomach without feeling too weird about things. Then we branch out and find bigger and better things like Abraham.
Since discovering Abraham I suddenly feel like the secret is childs play. Glad I found you! Your youtube stuff is fantastic and reaches deep within. :)

I am thankful for having seen this video. I read a couple of books by Abraham via Jerry & Esther Hicks before I saw "The Secret". I too was puzzled that they were missing from this DVD. Putting it all into perspective, I have a clearer understanding and appreciate Abraham's explanation.

Chicky0708: She is not calling herself Abraham, Abraham is like another personality that refers to Esther in the third person. This personality, when it first manifested, identified itself saying "I am Abraham". Jerry is sitting off to the side in every workshop, operating the audio recording equipment and taking notes. I have watched the Secret ( a few times )and really enjoyed it, however, the Abraham books, cds and dvds have been such a big inspiration for me to raise my vibration and bring to me the things I want in my life. Very interesting to hear about The Secret's background, it has filled a "gap" for me. Lovely sense of humour too! I'm so glad that I've finally learned about Abraham-Hicks - from what I'd seen of The Secret I felt like there was something important missing, but now I've discovered the missing piece of the puzzle and WOW!

In all fairness, I believe there should have been a sticker on The Secret without Esther Hicks stating that she was not on this version. This would have prevented the disappointment I'm reading here by so many. However, ALL things do happen for a reason, there simply are no coincidences. The end result is quite spectacular!

I'm Spanish my english it's so bad, please forgive my spelling. So, now I decided to buy The Secret and my surprise is that already she is not in the documentary. I bought this documentary because Esther was one of few persons of the documentary that really I liked.I am disappointed. If I known that she is not in the documentary I not bought the DVD and I prefer continue seeing the documentary in English not in Spanish version because I like to see her to speak, her give myself good vibrations.

AMAZING!
Abraham states that "the real secret is that we are source energy in physical bodies." After looking deeply into several religious traditions I experienced that statment to be very true!
I hope to be able to attend a workshop soon. BTW, I have the origional version of "The Secret" and have to say that Esthers part was such a huge part of what initially attracted me to learning about the LOA.
