No, two different games that came out at roughly the same time. Both 3ps shooters, but Gun was more of a sandbox game while Red Dead Revolver was intierly linear and focus'd on action and duels.

Gonna be honest, both games I liked the best, I say get both of them, but if you can only go for one, get Red Dead Revolver, it gives you such a satisfying feeling.

i have planned to buy this game for a long ago, but i needed to see more clips and trailers im still not so sue. i love western movies and i havent played so much western games, but i really want a western game. is red dead revolver a good buy? or is gun better? can you help me out of here? should i buy red dead revolver?

To be perfectly honest, I say you buy both!!!

Red Dead Revolver is a perfect example of western movies, with it's showdowns and classic western music.

GUN is just as great too, it's free roaming and has to do more with missions and side quests, almost like GTA but just as awesome!! Their both great games with alot of differences,

so I say go for the win and get both!! ;P

that would be awesome yeah then you could buy better weopons ride on horse oh and it should be something that you can do missions with friends. it would be so awesome if someone one day made a online western game. we should send a letter to apc game company to ask them about that.
