  • hey youre not the one saving these animals so why do you care what mary spends her time saving? an animal is an animal no matter how big or small atleast shes helping something other than just talking shit thru youtube

  • That thing mad ugly. :P

  • If you're a wildlife rehabilitator why not spend your time on some animal more endangered and flush this thing down the toilet.

  • @slimydick23 ur an idiot. I hope you go work with lions one day and they eat you.

  • Furries LOVE this video!

  • Adorable!

  • lol saving rodents

maybe someday his offspring will repay you with a new virus

  • he's SOOOOOOO cute!!!! does he have a name?

  • Who the hell takes care of a field mouse lol

  • @superhippy86 Its her job...

  • You're an awesome person for having the heart and dedication needed to hand-rear this baby mouse. Most people would have ignored the poor thing or HOOKED IT UP TO A CAR BATTERY TO WATCH IT FRY.

  • Jeez, people always get all defensive when next to animals or shit, calm down

  • Awww he so cute. <3

  • Just lost four of these little guys after two days of hourly feeding of slightly watered down milk kept in a warm space. Too bad.

  • @ExotheBest Wow you are Disgusting, It's called formula.

  • @tylerguy1594 was a joke man XD

  • @ExotheBest Have some decency and delete your comment. Nobody needs to see this crap.

Nobody where you go, there's always some jerk being a disgusting moron because they think it's funny. It's tiresome.

  • Ooooh. Eating on his own. I read that as "eating his own" and thought it was a wee bit morbid.

  • God bless the creatures, big and small.

  • i would love to have ur job....i love helping animals. do u like it?

  • hello, im raising a baby field mouse and (if he lives, he is olny a pinky, and my first try to raise a baby mouse) when he gets big, can i release him? will his instincts help him find food and know how to live in the wilderness? just wondering. BTW for the people reading this and thinking "how could you take a baby wild mouse and raise it thats cruel!" well i saved him the mom was killed and he was the only one alive. just getting that clear :D thanks!!

  • Aw, so adorable, Mary! I have rescued many wild baby rats in my time, and when they make it, it is the most rewarding feeling ever. Some went back to the wild; a few remained in my care (one ran laps around his cage till I let him back in - NOT thrilled about life in the wild!) What a big heart you must have. I know how much patience this takes.

  • That white stuff is somewhat misleading.....

  • @BirthdaySuicide Honestly? You see white liquid and the first thing you think of is something as inapropriate as that?

Have you heard of "milk", you know, the stuff baby animals eat?

  • @wowdirtsA Oh god people like you seriously piss me off to no end. I can think its what ever the fuck I want it to be its my fucking mind N00BLET. Other than that enjoy your day.

  • Haha holy shit i thought that was sumtin else

  • Mary, I envy you! What a perfect "job" you have there! I wish I could work along your side; it seems like passing a life nurturing animals back to health is a treasured one!

  • *sees the white stuff*

    *looks at the name*

    *shuts down the computer*

  • @realfreakaynaughtay can it its cute and im twisted T^T

  • I like how people think the right ate itself. No people, it means that it's his first time to eat by himself with out Mary feeding it with a eye dropper thingy.

  • My cat brought in a field mouse,it was a baby,I fed it bread coated with milk, boy how it opened it's mouth wide to bite on the bread, then we released it once it was healthy and calmed down.

  • I have a pet field mouse and two voles- presents from my cats. They've done very well in captivity and will eat from your hand. All three run together on the hamster wheel.

  • I caught a field mouse in my room once. it was not a house mouse, it was a feild mouse, I do know the difference. I nursed it back to health as it had been snacking on a few chocolates and other things I had in a bookbag. After I fully nursed it back to health I let it free and let it pick if it wanted to be a part of the wild or stay with me and be fed and given lots of water. it chose wild and I am glad I got to help it. dunno if it lived or not but it made its choice.

  • @ILIKESFLAN I'm not acting like a Jewish cunt and I've already said I don't drink piss and I don't want to, you got a head like a sieve man! By the way are you like 10? 11? you sound stupidly immature.

And me bend over? Listen buddy, I don't care if you're gay but I'm not so please, keep what you do in your spare time, to yourself.

    Have a great day.

  • @ILIKESFLAN Well. For a start, I have no cunt. And secondly I'm not Jewish and I don't drink piss. So there are a few faults with that comment.

  • when i saw the video thumbnail I thought the white stuff was its vomit

  • I thought it said ''Baby field mouse eating his own family'' +=) Hahah I'm so stupid XD

  • I remember as a child...finding a baby mouse right beside a mouse trap with it's dead mother in it. I felt so bad for the orphaned mouse, so I took it to my mom to ask about what I should do with it. She told me it probably had rabies, took it outside, put it on the porch and quickly ended it's life by smacking it with a stone. Since that day, I never looked at my mom the same way again.

  • @ILIKESFLAN Awwwwwwwwwwwww QQ

  • I'm laughing at the mass number of people who can not read.

Congrats little guy for making it on your own. And big thanks to you guys for rescuing him. I bet he is doing great out there on his own.

  • @Mandy7D7 He was released back to the wild in Malibu in the exact field where he was found. He was very wild by then biting the &*^% out of me any chance he got.

  • @MaryCummins a hawk probably already ate him by now but hey thats how it goes

  • That cat is fucking stupid, I'd crush it with my thumb. How do they get cats so small?

  • @ILIKESFLAN I'd crush your small penis with my pinky. How is that possible? Even a vagina is bigger

  • @ILIKESFLAN Derr it's not a cat. Someone needs the animal flash cards out again.

  • LOL, based on the title I thought you meant the field mouse was eating ANOTHER field mouse (i.e. eating it's own)

  • do u only keep rodents ?

  • sooo cute!!

  • Where did you get it? it's so cutttte.

  • Pardon me, but at first I misread the title thinking it said 'Baby field mouse eating his own family' and then I thought that milk was his own semen.

  • awh..it looks so cold...still cute :)

  • LOL! I'm glad I'm not the only one who's done this! My husband bought a new motor for his boat and there was a nest in it - no Mama... I ended up dropper feeding the little peanuts umteen times a day... Finally eating real food (seed, apple, berries) and getting chubby. I have to admit - the 'flea stage' was really fun! They are crazy! They are now unable to escape from their cage - can't tell you how many times I woke up with them crawling on me!

  • AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! SO ADORABLE!!!!!

  • Wow,you must have the patience of a saint to hand-rear a mouse.

  • the thing that stressed me was the youtube add for pest control!

  • were did you find this cute thing

  • lol its so ugly that its cute

  • that is so adorable!

  • what if i just sniped that fucker with a bb gun from your window then i cackled manically

  • hey im kind of new to caring for young mice. I found a baby one today at work (hardware store) and the manager wanted me to get rid of it. Its a baby so i didnt want to toss him so i brought him home. Im trying to feed him the Esbilac puppy formula i just got at the petstore. If he doesn't want to eat, is there something i am doing wrong? thanks.

  • Sooo extremely adorable :D

  • @ bbgurl314 that is completely normal . that's why you need to keep your mother mouse away from the babies cause she WILL eat them.

  • Mouses have to chew something hard in order to reduce the size of their evergrowing teeth, it's true

  • i found one in my class room i know weird i hid it and brought it to lunch no one sow it

  • when there are baby rodents in danger,i catch them and nurse them and keep them

  • My little sister saved a baby field mouse. She nurses it with kitten milk

  • aww

  • aw adorable

  • i have had a baby field mouse for 2 days now and its eyes aren't even open and it will already drink milk off the table lol

  • oops- sorry!! she will respond! HAS AN E-MAIL FOR EMERGENCIES AND ?'S IF YOU HAVE A ORPHAN WILD ANIMAL AND SUCH ON HER CHANNEL !! SORRY!

  • it looks like a mutated hamster

  • thats funny, some robo hamsters do look like this but funnier, in a cute way. petsmart carries them, all kinds of cute hamsters!! super funny and cute!

  • Oh hes so cute! Look at his kinky tail!

  • zomg.. same here! i can send you a video (no sound) to you if you can help me with him. his hand is smashed real bad.

  • Is there a way I can email you as I have a baby field mouse and I need some help....... did yours survive ? your videos are amazing by the way

  • OOOOOMMMMG is soooooooooo cuteeeeee poor lil :(

    cuuuuuuuuuuuuuute

  • thank goodness for people like you <:3~~~~~~~~

  • my mouse just now had her babies and is eating them/refusing to nurse them. she only had 6 and this is her 9th litter. is there something wrong?

  • Sometimes captive mice feel there is not enough food, resources, room for more mice. They may then eat their young. If she gets pregnant again and you want babies, instantly put her in a cage by herself in a dark quiet area. Don't disturb her, just feed and clean her quietly. Don't disturb her until her babies are eyes open. Make sure there is plenty of food, water and room for more mice. Keep her male partner away from the babies or he may kill them so he can mate with her again.

  • @MaryCummins Good advise.

Since this was born in a cage it is OK but to take a animal which was free and cage it may not be the right thing.

If someone caged you, feed you good and was kind to you I bet you would still want to be let go.

Freedom even animals have rights he is a cute mouse

  • Some animals just aren't born with the mothering instincts and stuff, my brother's rabbit mated my rabbit and the exact same thing happened. Your mouse just isn't a good mom, it happens. Its too bad though.

  • I just caught a mouse in my house and we bought it like $50 worth of mouse accesories and my sister took it out and held it near my face and said "LOOK AT THE MOUSEY" and he jumped on my face then on the floor and now we can't find him ;(

  • we put two humane mouse traps outside yesterday, and we caught two! they were so cute. i wanted to keep them but i felt i couldn't. so we took them to a field about a mile away. but you have to watch, they have diseases. and they could cause serious problems in the house. the ones we have are living under our house...and if they chew wires, they could set the house on fire.

  • Thanks cla900, I didn't realize that, but like $50 of mousey accesories are keeping them quite well. they got bigger. they are cute.

  • you are such a good person!

  • That was a really handy demonstration. I happened to have had to adopt 3 baby mice like this and have been struggling to feed them over the last 24hrs. After seeing this video, I had my first successful feed. Cheers.

  • That's sooo cute! :) She is very cute and tiny.

  • whys its fur all messed up any way i love baby mice i just found one im trying to keep it alive and its ssssssssoooooooooooooo adorable

  • sooo sweeet

  • i was shocked to see baby mice scatterd around me, eyes still closed, exposed to the elements. i covered them with some leaves, to protect them from the rain, and ran to buy some pet milk formula.

when i got back 20 mins later they had gone - hopefully their mother took them somewhere else - there was no blood so i don't think they got poached. i was happy that they were ok, but also sad to lose them. - i had touched one of them but the mother retrieved that one too, not worried by the scent.

  • its a old wives tail if you touch a wild animal its mother will still take it

  • i disturbed a mouse nest while gardening yesterday.

  • Dear mary, i would give anything to work alongside you! The video of the tiny mouse has touched me deeply. It realy brings to mind one of my friends signatures..

The question is not can it reason, nor 'can it speak' but ''Can it suffer?'' THANKYOU for knowing that yes, they can and DO suffer.

    thanks for posting!

    hows he doing?

  • He got big, fat and healthy, so I released him. He turned into a furry butterball who got very wild. He'd try to attack me when I cleaned his cage or gave him food.I'm sure he's doing great out there.

  • how canny is that..lol

  • he is cute i hope he lives
