  • lol, my fav part was the mean conductor angry german is hilarious XP

  • lol

  • This is just brilliant! The idea, the orchestra, the whole thing is just fucking brilliant!!! I watched the video on the right of the comment section that's called "Cyber Conductor - Lisbon Film Orchestra" and they tried doing the same thing... and between me and all of you... nottt as good as the original. They kinda have a few screw-ups there. Although if they are high school kids, then awesome! But if not... meh. XD

  • I'm friggin' crying over here X'D The record player got me!!!

  • Why does German always sound so angry when shouting?!

  • @AppleAssassin It's not so much German in general which feels that angry when shouted, but the way it sounds when Austrians speak Standard German overly well-pronounced. The reason for this might be that Austrian has both sounds that are more- and less rigidly articulated than their German counterparts. When you then take away the gentle elements and pronounce just everything the strong way, the result is extremely harsh.

Maybe he also did, in fact, intend to sound somewhat Nazi-like.

  • awesome display of teamwork!!!!

  • 7:39 NNEEEEEEIIIIIINNN!!!!!

  • also Angry German!!!! 7:08

  • He said schnell XD!!!

  • 6:45 onward reminds me of my summers. Anyone else in a drum and bugle corps?

  • 7:05 Reminds me of "Das war ein Befahl!", or as most know it, the famous "Hitler Rants".

  • watch?v=CFltd2838gc&feature=related copied this video....

  • @RatedPi That's why they elected Hitler.

  • @RatedPi epic fail... was ist daran so toll einen deutschen wütend sprechen zu hören?

  • @RatedPi haha u should see the hitler performance in The Downfall then

  • @RatedPi A normal German doesn't speak like this when he's angry.^^ I think he tries to imitate the voice of Hitler.

  • @RatedPi

  • Oh my gosh, the conductor sounds like Hitler....

  • @cellorafe

Because he's speaking with an Austrian German accent, it's pretty different to normal german as you now notice ;)

  • @Alaurae he doesn't has an accent...

i live in hannover, northern germany, and we speak just like him

  • Are you sure...hmm maybe I am just so used to Berliner German, as all my partner and german friends are from there or from the far west near the french/german border. To me he really sounds different. Then again Southern/Northern Germans sound even more totally different to me. But I think they're adorable :3

  • HUGE thanks for such an approach to classical music :) I think this makes people who take it seriously to laugh from time to time. And the ones who do not listen to classics at least to get curious :) Loving your works! Good luck in the future.

  • Молодец, Лёха! Так держать!

  • Excellent!

  • Thank you for sharing this marvellous piece of Austrian fun. many wonderful moments in it. I especially liked the Mozart done in various keys [brilliantly done] and the changes of posture from major to minor. Thought they were a bit hard on good old vinyl :-).

  • Thank you for the witty and satirical gesture to the over emphasis of the overtly techical and mechanical precision training and methodology enforced on young musicians today. funny to behold, but upon deeper thought,, very horrific; I wonder what are the audience true response if they think about it. i urge you to do the same. thank you maestro, again! Encore!

  • Vraiment très drôle !!!

  • Igudesman lingual abilities are something to be envious of for sure

  • Na, es est ganz cool=)))))

  • Ausgezeichnet!

  • damn this was funny

  • He can speak German, too?

    Wow, that's great :D

  • He is German... English is his second language.

  • Thx. I didn't know that^^

  • Actually, I am Russian, grew up in Germany, went to school in England, studied in Austria and learned my Spanish from an exgirlfriend in Madrid who could not speak English, German or Russian. And after a while one has to say SOMETHING to each other, right?

  • @igudesman amazing videos!! cheers, especially "I will survive, mozart bond, and riverdance!!!!"

  • @igudesman Молодец, Лёха! Так держать!

  • alter is das geil XDXDXD

    selten so gelacht

    hahaha der absolute hammer

  • Mann wie cool

  • This is what youth orchestras do in Germany?

  • austria....

  • My apologies. I didn't notice a city and since I don't speak German, I couldn't detect the dialect.

My daughter is in the San Francisco Symphony's Youth Orchestra and they recently had a visit from Sir Simon Rattle when the Berlin Phil was visiting. They now have a standing invitation from him to play in Berlin the next time they travel. My comment was as much for my daughter's enlightenment as for general consumption.

  • they are paid for that job, usually they play normal concerts

  • UAHAHAH!!

  • ooo when can i order one? XD XD
