I listen to a variety of music: some of my current favorites are Anna Calvi, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Death Cab for Cutie, Coldplay, Benjamin Gibbard, Deftones, B.B. King, Jason Aldean, Chris Cornell, & most 80's music (stuff I grew up with). This list is a big range of music, it's what I'm diggin

None of them need to be autotuned or mixed in the studio to sound good because they have actual REAL talent. I've been thinking lately about how each decade's music (as well as movies, TV, & fashion) has had its own style/feel to it....up until the 2000's. Now most everything is a sad rip-off of something from another time. True originality is rare!

All that does is take away from the time you could be doing something positive. Negativity can poison you if you let it. It took time for me to figure this out, & I wish I would've known about that sooner in life. In the long run, you learn that EVERYONE has something going against them in life. Success is achieved DESPITE what holds us back.
