Never know this car is even rare in the states, but this omega was a wreck.
But when i saw this car for sale it was simply "love at first sight" but in the time i drove this car the gasoline prices reached from EU 1,34 to 1,58 and higher.
Because the engine and gearbox wheren't in good condition i desided to sell it before it fell apart.
you have the same olds i have! mine is basically in new condition to! even in the states this car is rare so its interesting to see who else actually appreciates these cars, well just so u know i aint surrendering! no matter what the price of gas
I always thought the FWD Omega's were underrappreciated cars and it's really sad they're getting rarer as time goes by, of the FWD X-body cars it's the Omega that I see the least often.
I had an '80 Omega V-6 from October 1987 until August 1992. The interior fell apart but it was mechanically rock solid. I used to routinely smoke BMW 325e's of the day. I always thought someone put a HO V-6 into the car because it sure felt like more than 112 hp.

You're right, the cars who did survive are wrecks or owned by old men.
When they die they will be beated up by young people who don't know the real worth of a good car.
I really loved this car but it was in a very poor condition and restauration wasn't an opinion because the parts are to hard to get.

Definitely a rare Oldsmobile you have, you barely see any 1980s Oldsmobile Omega's around no more.

You're right!, you don't see much of these Omega's.
In never stops raining in holland, the car was in poor contition but it still drove great!
I sold this car eight months ago, the gasoline prices are reaching sky-high!
One liter costs EUR 1.46,5 (one gallon = 4 liters) One gallon in holland would cost $9 (no mistake).
So i bought a smaller car, and surrendered to the EVIL GOVERNMENT!
