well i was pissed at first too because it would have been the killer feature for me.... right now i hope that the auto-focus speed will at least come close to my 400D... anyway i am still decided to go with the G11 so I'm eagerly waiting right now...

I'm glad they did. I don't want my camera to cook chicken noodle for me either - I want it to take photographs and I want all the money to go to that end.

Cool, i love this camera, I just ordered mine too, I love the new swivel LCD screen. Too bad it doesn't have HD video too. would have been a perfect camera. Please do a good photo quality and extensive review.
